Slightly off the beaten tourist path in Aland (Godby's not the most touristy), but also not that…read morefar off (we found out about it through the Visit Aland Guide). Very good bread, rolls and buns are just ok.
The highlight was the home-baked loaf, which was an inch or so thick, but not unrisen. Sort of like a ciabatta, but denser and savorier. Local specialty and certainly worth sampling!
The rye bun was just ok, nothing special, and the dried fruit was a bit much. The Swedish-style cinnamon and cardamom buns were nicely non-sticky (and not too sweet), but also a bit dry.
