We needed pea gravel for a backyard project - too much to buy it in bags from Menards, not enough…read moreto spend the extra $100 for delivery. We went to Midwest Concrete Materials, with shovels, buckets and a bunch of garbage cans. You weigh in/out, you get a short safety reminder, you are guided to the pile, and load up. It took less than a half hour, we got one ton's worth, fits in about 6 garbage cans (not all the way full). The pea gravel was evenly sized, clean and easy to scoop up with buckets (didn't really need shovels). All that for $25, you can't beat it. I am already planning more projects!
