January 24th, 2026 I drop my 2000 Honda TRX300 off for an oil change, brake inspection/bleed, valve adjust, change out a headlight housing and go through the quad for any issues - its for my grand daughter. On Jan. 24th I was told give them a week and it would all be done.
I called the following weeked (Jan 31st) from Los Angeles ask if it is ready because I am weekender. I was told yes it is by Parker Anderson Powersports Service. I said great, what all was done and how much do I owe? They said an oil change and a brake bleed and ~$630. I said wow that is expensive and that isn't everything I had asked for. Service checked again and then saw some more. Said their tech actually got sick and had to leave early, so not everything was done but next weekend, Feb 7th for sure. I said no worries, I will pick it on Feb 7th.
I called on Friday, Feb 6th. Is it ready? No. They're kind of busy and they tech hasnt had time. At this point I'm still pretty cool about things, no need to be a grump. I simply said I understand and do you think you can have it ready by Feb. 14th? Anderson Powersports Service said yes, for sure, so sorry for the wait.
Well here it is, Feb. 14th and I called from LA this morning and asked if it was ready? I was told yes it is by Anderson service rep R.T. So I drive from LA to Parker Anderson Powersports to pick up my quad.
Guess what it - is not ready!!! I told R.T. I am very displeased with the service I had recieved. She looked me and said "Okay". At this point I said, I am taking my bike back, how much do I owe for what was done. She had said $242.89 for an oil change and to bleed the brakes on a quad. This does not include a 3% surcharge ($7.28) to use my credit card which frankly I have always considered a cost of the owners for doing business with the public. I guess not at Anderson in Parker.
