Great local business and tremendous supporter of the community. Skip the big box retailers and buy local.

Then told Monday 11am ...first delivery.....I called at noon, they were loading it, I called at 2pm they were loading other things to go out at the same time. So at 4pm I finally get it. My time is money too and they have no respect for that. This is not the first this has happened. I won't ever use them again unless there are no other options.

After calling the company that delivered the dry wall "L&W SUPPLY" they said if I couldn't use it I could bring it back. I talked to the driver and his partner and gave them a layout of how I would like the dry wall put in the 3 bedrooms in the basement. They said no problem and started to unload their haul. When they were done I went to see the end result and it was completely wrong. I asked the guys and they said "oh ya we just spread it out we don't do exacts!" I called and asked to talk with David and was told he was working on a truck and couldn't be bothered. When I told Greg what happened he told me that was how it was and that there was nothing he could do. I specifically went with Anderson because my father-in-law is a contractor and told me they would deliver it into the specific rooms I requested. Do yourself a favor and just go with Lowes or Home Depot.

On Black Friday 2025, I purchased a garage door opener From your Maryville Tennessee Home Depot. We…read morealso requested it be installed. Not having heard anything from Home Depot or the installer, I called Caleb four days later. Caleb assured me he would contact the installer. Three or four days later I called back. Caleb said he was giving the issue to McKenna. Several days latter McKenna assured me she would get back to me within a few days and would contact the installer. Days later I heard nothing back from her or the installer. On the 30th of December, 32 days latter I received call from a garage door company in Knoxville, who told me they would have a $150 up charge because of the distance to travel in addition to the regular installation charge. However, they told me that they believed the charges were being taken care of by Home Depot. I thought at least Home Depot is doing the right thing, even though they didn't bother to call and inform me. Rather than to assume this was correct, I drove the 50 mile round trip back to the Maryville. TN. Home Depot and talked to Caleb. He was very arrogant and dismissive. He said the only thing he could do would be to dismiss the companies travel charges. This, after waiting thirty two days to get a garage door opener installed!?! I asked to speak to the store manager. I explained the situation to Jeff. I also mentioned that given this bad experience, I was going to write a letter to the CEO and post a negative Google review. Jeff put his hands up and said, I don't care what you do. I don't care if you write a review or not. He then proceeded to do the right thing and dismiss the charges. If Jeff would simply have said, you are right, we are sorry for this inexcusable experience. We will addresss what happened and train our employees to take ownership, to follow-up in a timely manner. If this would have been Jeff's response, I would have been happy. Instead Jeff told me in no uncertain terms, he could care less. Effectively Jeff is saying I don't give a s*** about your negative experience! As a veteran, I have been a fan of Home Depot for many decades. Never have you been so dismissive, unempathetic and arrogant in terms of addressing an issue. We have spent a lot of money with Home Depot over the years and we were about to purchase kitchen granite tops, counter backsplash, etc. from you. From here on in, we will find a more customer oriented, customer responsive company to deal with for all future purchases. Cearly not that Jeff cares and more than likely, not that today's Home Depot's management team cares, but this is the review I will send to your CEO and post to google reviews, Home Depot review as well as other social media outlets.

I've been in many Lowe's, but my most recent experience at their Alcoa store was worth reviewing…read more I wanted a simple light fixture to replace the old front porch light on our house. I have clients come to our house so it doubles as my place of business, and leaving clients (literally) in the dark was not going to work. Jim greeted me and immediately offered solutions to my issues. As a pregnant 29 year old with very basic experience in DIY, Jim was informative and helpful without being condescending. We found a simple light under my budget and a "dusk to dawn" LED bulb to up our efficiency. No more leaving clients in the dark AND no more accidentally leaving lights on all day. Overall I was in and out in five minutes, under budget, and got a high quality product I was able to install myself in 30 minutes. Thank you, Jim!!

this is specifically about the Lowes DELIVERY branch, I just had my freezer delivered, I didn't…read moreturn around twice and they were driving out of the driveway! Freezer wobbly on the floor, nothing explained to me (like any adjustments and how to make them, etc). I thought they were getting something from their truck to finish setting up, but they left! They left without letting me examine the freezer to make sure all was ok...I signed NOTHING, as nothing was given to me. They reported to their home base (?) that there was an "altercation" and would never return...what... a..... big......lie! We asked 2 questions of one of the individuals which were answered in a very "gruff, unfriendly, "don't want to talk to you" kind of way. I'm the customer, I'm paying....and always friendly to the workers...I expect this back in turn....friendly answers, and patience....Lowes needs to get rid of this delivery branch, or teach them how to deal in a professional way with the public...(the first freezer was delivered badly, badly, squashed 2 days ago (I have pics) from top down, and their warehouse guy said "I can give you a discount"??????? WHAT? So we had them send that back...now THIS? I can say....that I have NEVER put up with such a bizarre situation in delivering a product in my lifetime! Called Lowes several times to complain...as I believe in FIXING the mistakes, and not just complaining about it....zero confidence this will be fixed with their delivery branch, unless Lowes management steps up.
