I have to admit, my initial reaction to Anderson was not a good one. In May, two panels in my garage were damaged when they got hit by a car. They were quick to respond to my call and get someone on the scene to get a quote ($545 for 2 panels, a hinge, install etc). However, there was a slip up as my job and another person's were very similar and they thought my job was complete when it wasn't. So fast forward 2 months (and about 20 phone calls), the parts were finally ordered and installed. It does seem like the internal communication is not great. Now, if it wasn't for the gentleman who installed the door and apologized for the issues (plus a nice discount for my trouble), I would have been forced to give them 1 star. It's all about how you treat people and since they were honest and upfront about the error, I take that into great consideration. I called Anderson Garage Door this morning reagarding a broken garage door spring. By 2:30 pm today the repair was completed. The two young men who came out for AGD were both polite and well spoken, and completed the repair exactly as promised. The door works and sounds better than it has in the four years I have owned the home. I have four garage doors in my home and Anderson will be my go-to hereafter for my door needs! read more

Jeff Anderson came to my home to give me a quote for new garage door openers the first week in December. He said the openers would be in the following Tuesday and they'd install them Thursday. I didn't contact him the following week because of the snow storm but left him a message on December 26 and again on December 30- no return call. After telling a friend about this on Facebook, I received a Private Message from him on January 5 telling me he'd been sick and that he'd call me on January 7. Today is January 14 and I had another company install my new garage door openers with only ONE PHONE CALL! I'm not begging Anderson Garage Door or anyone to take my money.
