I have massive anxiety about any dental procedures starting from childhood ( a disastrous tooth extraction at a fancy dentist in Newport 10 years ago among the more recent of nightmares ) as I was born in Hawaii, and mid 70's dentistry was positively barbaric and painful. Dr. Yeoman was so warm and funny that he put me at ease immediately as did his assistant Alex. During the procedure he was fast, precise, thorough and again, very gentle. So gentle he didn't even need to give me novocaine to fix two chips in my front tooth from gnawing on a ribeye bone. The results are BEAUTIFUL and maybe took 40 minutes. He's a magician. Staff members Alex, Rachel and Brandy were all absolutely terrific and got me in right away when I called to explain the issue. She immediately had my six year old at ease when she greeted her with a big smile :) She had such patience and compassion that I'd never seen in a dental office before I almost wish we lived in Rapid City full-time so we could visit her again and again! My favorite part is how she took the time to explain everything she was going to do to my daughter before doing it so my daughter had time to process. She also asked my daughter if she had any questions and was super mindful of her experience as a small child being in an unfamiliar dental office. Her exam was completed by Dr. Juhlin and he was just as warm and friendly as Cassandra. It truly was such a seamless experience to be seen by him and I loved the way he provided my daughter with a letter grade so she could understand how great she was doing with her brushing and flossing. An extra special touch is they provide cavity-free kids with a Polaroid photo post visit that they hang on the wall to announce that they are proud members of the "sugar bug club," such a cute concept. There were also fresh cookies, prizes, stickers and the traditional new tooth brush gifted...it was just an impressive send-off to say the least! I didn't get their names but the receptionist who checked us in and the office worker who checked us out were also both kind and friendly. Not only was Dr. Loftus rude, when the numbing shots did not work, my 10-year old son began to scream. Dr. Loftus became irritated and said, "Calm down, we don't scream here. If you're going to continue to scream, you're going to have to go somewhere else." Mind you, he was pulling an already painful molar from my son's mouth. However, my son quieted himself to crying. Once the procedure was done, Dr. Loftus got up and walked out; he didn't say anything to my son or my husband. Thank you very much for showing your ability to care for children. Be aware! Went to place a crown on an existing implant . I have had this done before on another…read moreimplant! They had my insurance info before hand. Before seeing Dr Jensen I was taken to do an xray. I now understand it is an intraoral xray! Asked if it was covered the technician said yes. Finally see Dr Jensen , he states he can't put the crown on and wants me to see another dentist for imaging who is not on my insurance ! Left disappointed and confused because not my first crown for an implant! Go to another Dentist Dr Rice and he can put crown on with no problem. They sent a bill for over $350 for an xray not covered. They could not put crown on and wanted me to go to another dentist before they could do anything! This is just to warn anyone thinking of going to them.

They went above and beyond - my employer had switched insurance providers but somehow I was missed when they mailed out notification and ID cards so I ended up giving them expired insurance information. They caught my error and helped me track down my new provider information, all the while assuring me that it was no big deal and helping me feel marginally less stupid. I let the office manager know, and I believe they dealt with the issue recommended! Dr. Studer was recommended to my by my Dentist in Ft. Collins. Being no stranger to dentists with several crowns/fillings, I really need a Dentist that is gentle, effective, and treatment effective. I've had too many dentists that wanted to maximize procedures to maximize profit and it's nice to find docs who are there to treat you, not be treatment aggressive, and are gentle.
