I was…read morescheduled for an 0830am skills class and was waiting for 45 minutes only to be told the class was cancelled. I took the online lecture portion already so I have to take skills in person to receive my BLS provider card. However, once I was rescheduled, they changed my date without asking me if I was available. The customer service rep over email does not even try to understand what I'm trying to tell them. It's beyond frustrating and unprofessional because I can't speak to anyone on the phone. My card expires by the end of the month and they're not allowing me to refund the first online class I took even though their scheduling is so messed up. They were basically having me pay $150 for an online plus in person skills. Another lady I was with while waiting for nothing at the location said she was rescheduled 5 times. 5 times is ridiculous! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE SERVICE and will cancel without notice!!!

It is amazing how it is the only college in Chicago that has a Surgical Technology and EEG Tech programs. The retention and graduation rates well exceed those of its competitors, including community colleges. The staff and faculty take pride in serving their students and enabling them to begin their careers in healthcare, and now in IT and business. It's definitely a great value proposition for this who thing the traditional college is not the right path for them.

My husband and I scheduled a stress relief treatment which is a facial and back facial one day…read morebefore service over the phone. So the receptionist at that time knew it would be a male and female coming in (unfortunately, this is important). When we got there I did notice some scuffling around and it seemed like the receptionist wanted to see who would provide service for who, or something completely separate was happening, but I did notice. I talked to my student and went to the spa area. After a couple of minutes my husband also joined. I called his name, just saying hi since I knew he was excited because this was his first back facial. He tells me that the student said she is "uncomfortable touching a males back, so she can only do the facial". I told him we would just leave because he was looking forward to that aspect of the stress relief. The receptionist saw us leaving and confirmed that the student did say she was uncomfortable, and that she was the only one available to service my husband. Not sure how true that is because we saw several students walking around. Overall, I feel like this could have been handled so many other ways rather than making my husband feel like he is making someone uncomfortable for being a guy with a back at a spa ‍. I doubt I will be back with him or alone, we were caught off guard by the denial of service.

I'm an organization trying to hire students and just…read morestopped receiving correspondence from faculty and staff altogether after asking some follow up questions about my application for students I was trying to bring on. Emailed the students affairs advisor and just stopped emailing and communicating back. Really terrible experience with the administrators here and really disappointing that the school doesn't care to respond to recruiting companies of their students. The honest truth is that the real losers in this situation are the students. And in our case, we hire and take interns about 4 times a year and was looking for a program to work with in the long-term. So I recommend that students stay away since there are a number of complaints from the students being left without resources and help, and for potential recruiters to stay away as well.
