I then discovered that my 99 Suburu Outback 30th anniversary had a transmission that was only used one year for that model. As a result, I spent a month trying to find a transmission to replace mine. I almost gave up until I contact Ann at Brighton Truck Parts. She told me that she had one. I asked her to send me pics. I received 3 photos of a perfect transmission with the identical part number on mine. It was the cheapest one I had found and she told me that it would arrive within 7-10 days. A week later, the transmission arrived at my mechanic's shop. Three days later, I had my car back again after not having transportation for 35 days. It came with a warranty and I have been doing a great deal of driving in a variety of situations such as going up steep hills and discovered that it performs perfectly. I called up because I needed some scrap wiring harness wires for a video prop that I am fabricating, and they told me that they would be happy to take me out into the yard to grab what I was looking for. They already had a big pile of scrap wire that they said they typically sell for copper, so they sold it to me at that same per-pound scrap copper price. All in all, I had a completely positive experience, and I would absolutely go back whether I am looking for something specific or just have another generic car part need. They also have some cool knickknacks in the front office!
