Why hold off responsibility if you can take care of it immediately? Enter Hector. We messaged a few specialists via the Yelp app and Hector was almost immediately responsive via the Yelp app. He let us know he could be accommodating, and provided an estimate based on our needs. Now, he only had one review, so I was a tad nervous. But considering his responsiveness and level of professionalism, I decided to hire him. He provided a time estimate for his arrival time for the home visit (his work is mobile) and showed up right on time. After a few niceties, he went directly to work. I found him to be very organized and swift. The entire process took about 15 minutes or so. And he was very reasonably priced. And another thing -- he provides a business card. On the back is the "pledge of ethical practice." That's awesome. The card reminds you that he is not a lawyer and is not able to provide legal advice. It comes with the logo of the National Notary Association. Again, professionalism. I would recommend.

Absolutely UNHINGED customer service. (*See the response below as well)…read more "Open 24 hours" apparently means "call at your own risk." I was up at 4 a.m. getting ready for work, could not book their advertised same-day Live Scan online, and called the number they provide. The man who answered was shockingly hostile. He talked over me, repeatedly berated me for calling at 4 a.m., and lectured me over and over that he "only answers the phone for emergencies," apparently an unwritten rule new customers are somehow expected to know. He refused to hear that their website was the reason I called and then hung up on me. Insane business model, but go off. ***********RESPONSE Thank you for responding. This way everyone can see how defensive and unprofessional this business is. What I have stated in my original review is the truth. I am not going to respond to the entire word salad posted here because it attempts to bury the real issue, but here are a few clarifications. You said: "Please feel free to show us where on our website we advertise Live Scan services as available 24 hours a day. " I did not make that claim. I said, "could not book their advertised same-day Live Scan online." I called the number provided on the website to ask a question about navigating the website NOT for a "Live Scan 24-hour service." You said: "The phone number is answered after hours strictly for genuine emergency notary needs." Please direct me to where your website tells customers that the phone number is for emergency notary needs only after hours, because I did not see this. Also, what is "after hours" for a business that is listed as "open 24 hours?" Can you see why a new customer may be confused or not understand the business model? You said: "Calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance." You may want to announce this to customers who are calling. I think this is a good thing. You said: "laughing was audible in the background during this call" This is impossible. It is wild the length you are going to deflect. Your response speaks for itself.

Had a pleasant experience here for notary services…read more This review is long overdue, used them once for a legal document a few years ago. They did have good availability if you need something done quickly. Their rates are reasonable compared to the other notary services. Many major banks now have their own notary service that they provide to customers for free. Which is what I've been using recently. But if I had to pay for notary service, this is definitely a pretty good option.

Matt at Seal Diego Mobile Notary was incredibly flexible and accommodating with my last-minute request. Even with the last minute request I found his pricing to be very aligned with other businesses that offer the service! He was professional, responsive, and extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire process. He even caught a few things that had been slipped into the agreements my attorney prepared--details I had completely overlooked. That extra level of care and attention gave me a lot of confidence that everything was handled correctly. I couldn't be happier with the service. I'll absolutely be using Seal Diego Mobile Notary again. In fact, I already have a few more documents in the works that I'll be reaching out to Matt for soon. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a business mailbox, I caution you against Mail Station!…read more I signed up for a box with them in January 2024. At the time, customer service was great and I was really happy to be a customer. For a long time, I got my mail and had no issues. (Though I did often have package slips but no package) Then, in February of 2026, I got very sick, resulting in a hospital stay and major surgery. Once I got out of the hospital, I realized my payment to Mail Station hadn't come out of my business account. I called multiple times. No answer, so I left a message with my name and number explaining that I had been in the hospital, but I wanted to bring my account current if possible. I wasn't able to even walk at the time, so I couldn't go in. I never got a response. I assumed I'd changed the card on file and that my account was current, as I never heard anything. That was my mistake. In June 2026, I am finally physically functional again. I go in to check my mailbox and notice the mail inside isn't for me. I approach the counter and say, "I think my mailbox has been reassigned." They confirmed it had. I ask "Why, was I delinquent in payment?" The older man and the young woman behind the counter look me up in the system, but said they didn't know why my box was reassigned. I asked where my mail was. They didn't know that either. They asked if I had been out of town for a bit. I explained I was in the hospital getting surgery and hadn't been able to come in. I explained that'd I'd called Mail Station, and even left a detailed message with no response. They said, "Oh. Wow. Well, we don't know." So: - Mail Station closed my account without any attempt to contact me. No calls, no emails. If payment is the reason for the closure, I would've happily taken care of my account if I'd been contacted. As it stands, no one can confirm why my account was closed. - Mail Station reassigned my box without asking for the key back or changing the lock on the mailbox. This gave me access to another business' mail. That's not cool for the other business owner. I wish I remembered their name so I could let them know. - Mail Station lost, threw away, returned, or otherwise misplaced my mail but couldn't tell me anything about it. - Mail Station didn't attempt to in any way resolve the issue and I barely got an apology. They didn't even ask for the key back--I volunteered it as I never want to do business with them again and it's super unethical for me to have access to another business' mail. If you value your mail, which I assume you do since you're looking to rent a box, Mail Station is NOT your best option.
