Beware of deceptive business practices. I enrolled my daughter in Rockstar Gymnastics for a couple…read moreof years. While the instructors seemed competent, they were clearly overwhelmed--far too many students per coach, which severely limited individual support unless you paid for private sessions.
However, the most troubling experience was financial. I was assured by the owner that the charges for three months (over $300) would be refunded once the Regional Center--whom I was working with--paid for my daughter's sessions. I agreed to pay upfront in good faith, fully expecting the refund once the third party handled the cost.
After the Regional Center completed payment, the refund never came. I reached out multiple times over the course of a year, only to receive vague excuses about "budget issues." Eventually, it became clear that the owner had no intention of returning the money. This wasn't a delay--it was a blatant refusal. Holding onto funds that were supposed to be reimbursed feels unethical at best, fraudulent at worst.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to any family.
