But there is old fashioned call ahead ordering or walk-in order and wait. As far as convenience stores go, this one is up there. I trust their food quality and there consistency is pretty good. I have noticed one change since the new ownership, they don't use styrofoam to go containers anymore. Which is cool for the environment. On nice days you can order and eat on a few of the covered picnic tables outside, but BEWARE watch your head near the columns are supports that come low. (I am clumsy so maybe it's just me.) I love their hefty Stromboli too, it's great for sharing or leftovers. Ben's Monty is another unique tasty sandwich, with french toast for sandwich bread served with maple syrup. I haven't come close to trying everything they offer, so I can't speak for everything. I do know I'd be willing to bet it's on par with the rest of the stuff I've tried. Oh, and I should note: there is a miniumn credit card purchase required. Bring cash if spending is low.

They keep expanding their menu offerings. I decided to try a burger for the first time, but I'd give that a 2 out of 5 stars. The burger itself seemed like it had been already cooked and sitting under a heat lamp, because it was quite dried out and well done. The bun and the toppings were fine, and the onion petals that came with it were actually quite tasty & very hot. I also took a chance and got their flatbread/pizza and I was expecting it to not be very good, but I was pleasantly surprised that the sauce was actually very flavorful and they put the pepperoni underneath the cheese and it was covered with a very good amount of cheese, so I was actually surprised that I enjoyed that. It was 4 square slices so plenty. Sheetz is basically one of your only choices where you can still get food after a certain hour (9pm) when all the other bars and restaurants kitchens are closed in Cranberry Township. I don't eat there often, but it will suffice in a pinch.

Not plastic!* And that's when I figure out the pizza. The pizza with that awesome, thick, homemade crust. It's my aunt's pizza, seasoning and all, and that's why I'm nostalgic... I'm sitting at her kitchen table. The only things missing are the photos and magnets on the fridge. Next time I'm going to ask her to fry me some eggs. We walked in and did the looking on our own for a minute or two and then just straight up asked where it was. Turned out they were out of it. Can't really hold that against them as this is a fairly busy place for people to pick up last minute items. What stands out here is that they don't hold back or keep secrets. In fact they told us that there was another place nearby so we could get some. It was nice to see that small town still means small town.

While I haven't had problems recently, there have been numerous times in the past where I go inside and pay and then walk out to my car only to find the pump isn't on yet. More than once they forgot to enter it in and I had to go back inside and wait in line again to ask them to turn on the pump. There was one occasion where I had to do that and they entered $15 instead of the $20 I handed them the first time I was in there. When I went back in the third time to ask why it stopped at $15 the woman was adamant that was what I gave her. I should've insisted but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. The pumps themselves used to have issues all the time, but I think that has been addressed although I can't be sure. The employees here are an interesting mix. There are several who are always polite and mild mannered. Then there are some who are so impressively rude I can't believe they still have a job. I try to be understanding and know Newton Falls locals can be mean and overall not great customers and I know everyone has bad days. But there are employees who, without fail, are borderline aggressively rude without any prompting. I have been yelled at, ignored, and straight up insulted by several particular workers. I don't engage them outside of pleasantries and small talk at the counter so I can't imagine I provoked them in some way. Plus I've seen them treat other customers the same way. Once I was yelled at (as in she raised her voice and not politely reprimanded me and my friend) for looking at the liquor after the time it was legal to buy it. Just to be clear, we weren't attempting to purchase it, just looking as we passed by to get pop and we are well above the legal age. It was weird, and I'm not entirely sure why it was an issue. On another occasion I waited in what seemed to be an empty store for someone to help me at the counter. Not altogether unusual, it was in the middle of the night and I imagine they were slow. Eventually she came up but was on the phone. Without saying anything to me she started to cash me out, all while having an inappropriate personal phone call in front of me, swear words and all. My husband and I drove here to purchase premium gasoline for our vehicle. The gasoline pump worked correctly, and the price for the gasoline was average. We experienced no problems.
