Not up to the standard I expect from Homewood Suites. The main issue was with odors in the room and…read morethe hallway. The hallway smelled liked a burnt Teflon pan. The room was heavily deodorized to mask a problem. The applied scent bothered me. Luckily the windows could be opened (but only a crack). The true issue was with a mold issue that I couldn't see but could smell. I also got flu-like symptoms from it. The paint on the doors inside the room was sticky to touch too. I could hear traffic on the busy road near my room. Finally, the breakfast was lousy. The oatmeal was undercooked with a slimy liquid. Very disgusting. Box eggs and cheap salty sausage. The best thing was the prefab tater tots. I see that a fellow Yelper complained about a mildew smell 12 years ago!! So this issue has been ongoing. I learned that the night social only happens at this location on Wednesday nights. Final word, I wanted to make my own pancakes from scratch in my room until I saw the frying pan that the hotel provided in the room. Burnt, scratched nonstick pan. I would never use that pan. See photo!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have a little one so the first thing I did was check the tub…read moreand it was super clean so I felt confident bathing him. The room was clean and big and we loved having the kitchen. We really enjoyed the breakfast and Beth was so lovely and sweet. Darlene was also super helpful and nice. Only thing we didn't like was the pool and jacuzzi were really dirty. Otherwise we loved our stay!

You may think you're lost as you drive the long and winding road to the Meadow Farm. Stay the…read morecourse and you'll be rewarded. Have stayed here about 4 times over the past few years visiting our children at summer camp. The owners, Janet and Doug, are wonderfully friendly and charming folks who I have really enjoyed getting to know. Their home is a lovely old farm house with a great deal of charm; lots of antiques, some low ceilings, creaky floors, antique locks on the doors, etc. The rooms are small, but comfortable. You'll find a few cob webs and a little dust, but this is a trifle. Janet makes a cooked-to-order breakfast often asking what you'd like the night before. She is an excellent cook. The best part of a visit to the Inn is the idyllic backyard (see photo) which is immaculately kept and is stunningly beautiful. It is quite relaxing and serene. Sit and listen to to the quiet. Once you sit down and take in the view, you do not want to move. There is also a screened-in porch for those wishing to avoid the sun and flying annoyances. The property also has access to a nearby pond which is a short walk via a path through the woods across the street. Canoeing and rowing is possible, or simply sit and take in the water view and others enjoying the lake. The Meadow Farm Bed and Breakfast is a lovely oasis.

Spent three wonderful days....over the Thanksgiving holiday at Meadow Farm Bed and Breakfast. But every morning they fed you a HUGE home made breakfast...each breakfast was better than the day prior! Many items were really unique and very tasty....I am a big coffee fan and they serve french press. We stayed in the canopy room and enjoyed every inch of the historic house and furniture. The property is relaxing and fun especially visiting the two horses on the property. Make sure you take a short walk through the woods o find the lake with a wonderful view. Already planning the next visit!

We were driving around on a beautiful day and thought we stop by. In the off season there is plenty…read moreof parking in the main strip. They offer inside and outside seating. Not huge but they seem to manage and the food was prepared quickly. It was Sunday brunch. Great options. Staff was friendly and the meal was great. Glad we stopped by. Might not be able to get back during the beach season but will return.

My friend and I came here for lunch on a December Saturday afternoon. The two of us sat at the bar…read moreand were helped by the male bartender with the ravishing eyes (I'm sure he knows who he is - lol). My friend loves the supper rolls, so we started there and I got a cup of clam chowder. The portions were big and the chowder was a great flavor and consistency - not too thick or too runny. The drinks we ordered were also really good. I made the mistake of getting a regular espresso martini and my friend got the special one with the horchata. I tasted hers and immediately hated myself because it was so good! I had a really well made rye manhattan afterwards - that guy can mix a great drink! And, the cocktail glasses were so classy! 1 star was removed because I ordered the mussels as my entrée and they came out when I was barely halfway into my soup. That is a big pet peeve of mine as I like to finish my appetizer, sit for a few minutes, and then go to the main course. I don't love it when the main is sitting there getting cold as I'm trying to finish my first course. For that reason, I sent them back. They looked great, so I would really like to go back at some point and try them. The restaurant was really good overall, so I definitely want to come back.
