They didn't return my deposit, they simply made up all these phony receipts and charges and said that they were to paint and clean the home which somehow amounted to $2800. The unit was throughly cleaned and the carpets washed before the move out inspection. They should know what normal "wear and tear" is under California law, but they have their own definition, so beware you won't get your deposit back. I suggest no paying your last month's rent with them in order that they have to demand payment from you at the end and not the other way around. Now I have to waste my time and file a small claims lawsuit against this disreputable company, specifically, Philip (Trump style bully) Georgiades the Operations Manager. I will sue the owners, the trust, and put a lien on the property. So BEWARE, BEWARE,BEWARE, BEWARE, don't pay your last months rent with this management company.

My expectation was that we would have an amazing stay in Coronado. Summer of 2017 my mom and her husband came with us for the first couple of weeks. When we arrived the bed was broken. After a few days of dealing with that my mom tried to move it and injured her back. She then discovered about 30-40 bed bug bites all over her body. Needless to say this was embarrassing and a terrible experience for my mother and her husband. After that ordeal we also had numerous other things that went wrong. The garbage disposal was not working so someone came in and installed a new one. Then the dishwasher flooded because the garbage disposal wasn't connected properly.. Two of the sinks were clogged and draining slowly. The smoke detector clip was broken. The toilet downstairs kept running. I realize things breakdown in a house. However, I go on vacation to escape it all. There were repairmen constantly in and out of the house. Coupled with the bed bugs,,, the fumigation, bed delivery and sending all of our things to the dry cleaners and laundry. It was a full time job dealing with all of this. It was a barrage of people through the house. It was all very stressful. Then we got a second episode of bed bugs. The fumigation didnt work! I reached out to Del Coronado Realty and the home owner directly. In addition I hired and attorney to help negotiate some compensation because they weren't being helpful at all. Yes, they did put me in a hotel however that isn't what I signed up for. I expected compensation or reimbursement for my horrible stay. The house wasn't cheap each year the rent was between 25-40k for a 30 day stay. The owner wasn't accommodating at all! I would steer clear from this agency and this house. Summer of 2018 I stayed at a house on Coronado beach and had a phenomenal experience. I experienced what a vacation should be and how realtors and home owner should treat their guests.

Myself, my fiancé (who were getting married in a month in a half) and our roommate (who had a newborn baby) were told our applications and credit checks went through about a week after we applied. The girl and I gave our 30 day notices and planned to move in on first. Next thing we know, their is a new property manager who knew nothing of us, then a third who seemed to honestly be on meth or a substance like that. She would not stop diverting and had extremely large pupils. She had us there forever just chatting away. She told us not to worry and that the mgr before had messed up our paperwork and if we could just re-do the applications with signatures we could move in, apologizing for inconvenience and showed us our new place. We were to have a call by Monday with move in date. Long story right? That's because after 2 1/2 weeks with both families who had given our notice she tells us we weren't approved on our credit. We asked her multiple times. Now, we had to go back and ask our landlady if we could stay in our place and our roommate and her baby are left with no where to turn. Mind you, now my fiancé and I's wedding is in two weeks! Had we been told the truth we could have looked elsewhere. No biggie. They definitely have no clue what they are doing and I have to strongly recommend this apartment complex. Don't be fooled by the nice exterior!! No stars!!
