The difference is that she actually understands styling - not just cutting hair, but knowing what's going to work for your specific face, skin tone, and hair type. What I appreciate most is how she explains her recommendations. She doesn't just say "this would look good" - she walks you through why a particular cut or color makes sense for you. It's collaborative. She listens to what you want, then helps you figure out if that's actually the right move or if there's something better. Tatiana is a master of creating perfectly articulated shapes in her haircuts. She is so good at what she does that her haircuts last several months. Although I still go and see her as often as I possibly can, if I'm traveling out of town for several weeks, I still know I'm gonna look great. I brought in a friend to Tatiana once with a pixie cut that another stylist had completely butchered. Tatiana looked at it, explained what we were working with, and somehow transformed it into something that actually looked intentional and chic. That takes serious skill and vision. If you're looking for someone who can give you solid advice about what will actually suit you - not just execute whatever you ask for - you must go and see Tatiana!

I especially appreciate how she gives thoughtful aftercare recommendations, so my hair continues to look amazing long after I leave the salon. And the experience itself is such a joy. The time flies by thanks to fun, easy conversations, laughter, and such a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It never feels like just a hair appointment, it feels like self-care. If you're looking for someone you can fully trust, who consistently delivers beautiful results and makes the whole experience enjoyable, this is your stylist. I wouldn't go to anyone else. When I needed to adjust my appointment time a little, they were so accommodating. They took the time to ask thoughtful questions, understand my vision, and explain how we could realistically achieve it. Larry was wonderful throughout my appointment. I have very thick, coarse Polynesian hair with a mixture of curly and wavy textures, so salon visits can take much longer than expected. He worked efficiently while still being attentive and thorough, and the appointment went much faster than I anticipated. My goal is an icy white/silver look with some black accents, which we're working toward over two sessions. The color from my first session already exceeded my expectations! It's such a beautiful, natural-looking blonde that I would honestly love it even if I weren't continuing toward silver. I'm so excited to see the second session's results. I also appreciated how much care Larry put into the bleaching process. He explained what he was doing along the way and gave my hair extra attention with conditioning afterward. That communication and care made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. The salon had such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Larry struck a lovely balance between friendly conversation and giving me space to relax. Something else that stood out was the kindness and respect he showed the other stylists.
