Wow! This was a great find! I, along with others in a group, were brought here on our stop on a tour. This restaurant also has 2 or 3 rooms available for board; in the states, this could be considered an upscale rest area - showers available for use (unsure if additional, as we only came here for food). I was also able to find a peahen and two chicks.
The owner was remarkably hospitable; they even went as far as moving a table out from under a canopy/pergola per another diners request (I assumed for a better view). They had a small vineyard, which you were able to partake, and even take a bunch home with you. They also had various veggies that they were hanging to dry, possibly used in their cuisine.
On to the food, it was very good with a great flavor palate. They offered a variety of mezze, beef kabobs, fish, mushrooms, and lamb. Apparently, they're known for their cheesy mushrooms. I really enjoyed my meal, and time spent here.
They are defintely worth a try... if you're in the area. read more
