We used this accountant for 15 years. Then...this year suddenly the customer service changed. We sent all our tax information as usual and heard nothing for over two weeks. Emails and phone calls we sent went unanswered. Finally a call back with information that didn't fit income vs. what owed plus he told us we shouldn't have submitted all the copies of receipts despite the fact he'd told us to do that very thing for years. Yet he denied it. Then when going to the office, he was rude, arrogant, and gave us less than a minute of his time. It became VERY clear to us that this accountant no longer had our best interests in mind and had become lazy and less concerned about his clients and more interested in his own benefit. When he finally called we could hear him quickly figuring up things on his calculator; then telling us we owed over 14K although he had been the person to figure our estimates for the year. He then charged us over $550 for his shoddy, on-the-phone work. Needless to say, we've fired him and will never, ever recommend his work to anyone.
