This is a review for the Taylor'd Design's save the date and wedding invitation design services,…read morespecifically. The short version: The Taylor'd Design is a reasonably-priced design company. I found their work to be excellent in a case where I knew exactly what I wanted (our save the date), in a case where I had no idea what I wanted (our logo), and in a case where I had some idea what I wanted (our invitations). Mike and Andi Taylor, the owners, were responsive, their turn-around time was appropriate, and Mike was more than willing to answer questions about printing, even though we were asking him to design digital files for us. The long version (as someone who has never had to design invitations for anything, I found the process a little daunting - if you are in the same boat, maybe you will find this useful): I'm getting married in June, and am trying to stay within a reasonable (but not super-tight) budget. It seemed like the easiest way to do that was to pick a few elements to either DIY or spend a little less on. Save the dates and our invitation seemed like a place we could save a little. We decided to do e-mail save the dates, and to print our own invitations. We also decided to keep the invitations reasonably simple - just a reply postcard, the invitation itself, and the outer envelope (so no tissue paper or multiple inserts or anything). Well, I had a great idea for a save the date, but could not for the life of me get it executed well. And it quickly became apparent that if I couldn't even make the save the date, there was no way I could make the invitations. But I also didn't want to pay someone a fortune for invitations. I started looking at web-based services, but I wanted more help than I was going to get via VistaPrint or something similar. I decided to contact the Taylor'd Design, even though I'm in Boston, and they're in AZ. Mike and Andi have been willing to work with me remotely via email, which is awesome. First, I sent them my poor attempt at our Scrabble board photo save the date. Jumping off of my idea, Andi created a much improved design, and Mike photographed and photoshopped it. They turned around their initial result to me within a few days, and they were very prompt making the changes I subsequently requested. I believe it is posted on their website as a save-the-date sample, and it looks amazing. We've gotten so many compliments on it. Mike also created a simple logo that we've been incorporating into our website, the save the dates, our invitation, and that we'll probably use on favors and whatnot. For this project, Mike was starting with almost nothing - I just knew I wanted the logo to incorporate our initials, and to be navy and teal (helpful!). Rather than overwhelm me by sending infinite variations, Mike sent me a page with a few significantly different logos (in shape, border, font, etc.). Once I decided on the overall shape I wanted, he asked specific questions and made suggestions about the border and font to help me narrow down what I was looking for. We basically worked our way through increasingly subtle variations until we had a logo I was happy with. The logo is deceptively simple, but given how much work Mike did on it, its an especially good value. Finally, we are just finishing up our work on the invitations! In keeping with our wedding's game theme, I knew I wanted Monopoly-inspired invitations. I sent Mike a few pictures and ideas, and he immediately got to work. Within a week, he sent me his design for our reply card, and five variations on his invitation design. I identified the components I liked and didn't like, and asked to see a few other combinations, and Mike sent me another set of variations to consider. He not only took into account my specific requests, but he also created an additional variation based on our general discussions. He has already answered my many questions about how we should go about getting these printed up, including questions about paper size and type, how to get the colors to look right once printed, etc. Especially for what they charge, The Taylor'd Design really did go above and beyond for us in terms of their willingness to answer questions, make changes, and in the quality of the finished product. I also like that they are upfront about their pricing on their website, which (as I quickly discovered when I began wedding planning) few vendors are.

Many customers come to eCreations after having a nightmare experience with other web designers or SEO companies who sold them a bill of goods. Steve is like Superman saving the day and helping turn a nightmare experience into their dream website. I have also seen customers increase their profitability through smart and tactical SEO. His SEO programs are constantly changing, evolving and maximizing search engine requirements. Other firms have "set it and forget it" SEO - if there is one thing I know about SEO, it's that search engines are continually changing their ranking requirements. Steve and his team stay in top of what's relevant and what's most important. Each client web solution is tailored to what will support their business best. I enjoy working with Steve and the eCreations team. I look forward to referring clients to him for many years to come!

My consultant took the time to thoroughly review our goals (and wishes) and, again, I have to say the results were beyond what we were expecting. We love our new website, it's converting well, the load speed is great and eCreations has been very communicative throughout the process. Site re-design is not a job that is easy or simple but if you put yourself in the hands of pros, it can seem this way.
