I came across the American Catholic Church from my cousin and I am so happy I did! We worked with Father Brian and Deacon Gary. They were both great to work with! The counseling class was eye opening and informative and gamey husband and I some great talking points on stuff we needed to work on, or how each of us handles certain situations. Father Brian married us on our wedding day. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony was and how great of a job Father Brian did. Instead of a Unity Candle, we had a Rope tying sign. Father Brian tied in the Celtic rope tying tradition since my husband is Irish. My husband finished his vows late the night before. He emailed them over to Father Brian, and he was still able to approve his vows before our ceremony. I hope that for Catholic couples who want a Catholic ceremony, but want to be married outside of the church, that they truly consider going though Good Shepherd Church. I highly recommend them!
