Absolutely Amazing Experience -- Ask for Ms. Marie! I cannot…read moresay enough wonderful things about my experience at African Queen of Braids (the original one and only location in Jackson, MS)! From the moment I walked in, Ms. Marie made me feel completely at home. Her warm and welcoming energy is infectious -- she has the kind of personality that just lights up a room. She is funny, easy to talk to, and genuinely makes you feel like family from the very first moment. That kind of hospitality is rare and it sets the entire tone for your visit. I came in to get large knotless box braids and was taken care of by two incredibly sweet ladies who were both professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. What really impressed me was that they completed my full set of large knotless box braids in just 2.5 hours -- which is honestly remarkable -- and the results are absolutely gorgeous. My braids look clean, neat, and exactly what I envisioned. The skill, the speed, and the warm atmosphere together make this place truly stand out. You can tell that everyone here genuinely loves what they do and takes pride in their craft -- and it shows in every single detail of the finished look. I will absolutely be returning for my next style and I would recommend African Queen of Braids (only in Jackson, MS) to anyone looking for quality braiding services in a welcoming and positive environment. Do yourself a favor and book your appointment -- you will not be disappointed
