He will ask you for a large lump sum retainer amount before starting your case. He uses tactics to use up your retainer, unethically, in his favor. He also will make a mistake and charges YOU the client for him to make the corrections of his own mistakes. He never presented a good month to month log of his charges. He's hard to contact once he has your money and he will charge you up every time you call him for an update. We discontinued service with him and our new attorney is doing and has done everything that Sergio said we couldn't do, for a fraction of what Sergio charged us. Our new attorney had to also fix all of his mistakes. BEWARE of Sergio, he is not experienced and will treat you unethically once he is not benefiting from you anymore. The problem I have is the time it takes for someone to return a call, the time it takes for to know if the attorney will take your case and when they say they will call you back with a recommendation for a possible lawyer who will take your case, but never call you. It took a month for this office to let me know they could help my family. This may not be the case for everyone but it took me another month to find a lawyer who said my family's case was not a big deal and could help us. I feel like the lawyer should still have some type of communication with the client. Regardless of updates or no updates on the case.
