She is super sweet and welcomed us into her home! I've had a reading before and felt like a lot of the things she mentioned were confirmations from a previous reading, so I felt like they were accurate. The reading was very quick - about 20 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions. Definitely come prepared with questions, as I feel like I got a lot more out of it asking for her to expand on the things she was telling me. We covered love/relationships, spiritual wellness, health, family, friends, wealth, and career. My roommate got a palm reading and it was super quick - about 10 minutes. I had my first tarot reading from Chelsea around the beginning of this year (before she started her business, This Woo Woo Stuff) and it was so insightful and spot on that I've had 3 more readings with her since then. I was nervous about my first reading with her but her calm and soothing energy put me at ease right away. She is always able to tell me things about my current situation without me telling her anything about them at all; she actually prefers I don't, so when she pulls my cards and tells me what she sees, I'm genuinely blown away. Chelsea is patient. She's always happy to answer my questions and explain things to me in a way that makes sense so I can understand them, whereas the other card readers I had been to before seemed more interested in watching the clock and would give me general explanations that left me more confused than I was before I asked. Don't be deterred by the fact that This Woo Woo Stuff is a new business. Chelsea told me that started learning about tarot cards quite a few years ago as it was something she has always been interested in and would do for fun but it became clear that her talent and insight are undeniable. I bought 4 Groupon offers to this class as a present for my parents when they came to Dallas…read more Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to use them, but after putting it off until a week before the expiration, I finally rounded up a crew to go with me. We stopped at Eatzi's on the way to pick up wine for the girls, beer for the boy, and snacks to nom on. The building was hard to find, because it was not well-lit in the front, but it will probably be the only storefront that is lit at all. We walked in, threw our drinks in the fridge and got to work sorting through all the books of idea paintings. I have never considered myself very artistic and was pretty nervous to pick something out and completely butcher it, but I found something that I thought I would probably buy if I saw it in a store and went to work. This was one of the most fun random Friday nights I have had in Dallas. Susan was fantastic and helped us all try different techniques and ideas. We made friends with the other parties there, both young and old. And all of our canvases turned out so well! All of our different styles came out clearly with art that we can all definitely hang on our walls. We will be back here for sure!

Scheduling was very easy via email. I attended the painting class with my sister. What makes this class unique is that each student (about 10-12 students in the class) chooses an image (many provided at the beginning of class) or brings their own to use for inspiration versus the step-by-step group format. The instructor, E, was awesome and gave individualized advice on how he would go about executing the painting and was really patient with beginners (like me). There are a variety of acrylic paints and tools (brushes, knives, etc.) at students' disposal. A few pointers: bring low-maintenance beverages and snacks, wear clothes you don't mind ruining, abstract images seem to be the way to go, and have a great time.
