I had my first tarot reading from Chelsea around the beginning of this year (before she started her business, This Woo Woo Stuff) and it was so insightful and spot on that I've had 3 more readings with her since then. I was nervous about my first reading with her but her calm and soothing energy put me at ease right away. She is always able to tell me things about my current situation without me telling her anything about them at all; she actually prefers I don't, so when she pulls my cards and tells me what she sees, I'm genuinely blown away. Chelsea is patient. Serendipitously, I came across Britten's website (thanks Google!) and I was immediately drawn to her writing style - which I would describe as the perfect balance of lucidity and poetry. I initially booked an Astral Integration session (3 hours total), to which I ended up adding an extra hour of recording, and I'm currently in the middle of my Transformation package (6 hours total). In addition, I'm also invested in her Seasonal Teachings, which are 4+ hours of 'transmission-style' recordings discussing the archetype of particular signs of the season (eg. Libra archetype for late September to late October), as well as a week-by-week breakdown of the planetary transits. As you can clearly deduce, I love working with her! I would argue it's one of the best decision I've ever made. Here are some of the reasons why. The multi-session structure of her readings worked particularly well for me. Rather than 1-hour readings, which is the norm for birth chart readings, she splits her reading into three separate parts: initial discussion, a recording of your birth chart reading which you can listen to deeply in your own privacy at your own pace, then a final follow up discussion to discuss how the reading resonates with you. The whole experience felt like a journey. It allowed me room and time to reflect on the wisdom she imparted on aspects of my chart and how I can usher in the deepest transformations. In hindsight, the potency of this structure is that it progressively allowed me to reclaim the responsibility of transforming my own life. The time and space between readings are almost as valuable as the readings themselves because that's where the work truly happened for me. I don't see a lot of astrologer using this structure, so kudos to Britten for creating such a powerful container. The readings themselves were incredibly spot on for me. She has various options of readings, depending on what you are looking for, but with each one she gives you information that remains relevant for months to come. The way I describe it is my personalized astrological encyclopedia, complete with important dates, important planetary shifts, etc. that I am able to go back to and reference.
