I was looking to pay over $80 at OTHER places.... and then along comes Margarita. I called Gemma's to inquire about pricing and there was something about Margarita ( friendly and funny) that convinced me that I found my place. Walked in and was greeted right away by Margarita and Ceasar. Took about 45 minutes for services to be completed. This place had many beautiful pieces- from rings, to necklaces, to bracelets, and even jewelery for kids. Not to mention watches too! If you're in the market for a beautiful piece of jewelry- come to Gemma's. Not only will you find knowledgeable assistance, but you'll find timeless quality pieces as well. Battery replacement $15 x 3= $45. Sizing -$10

I actually told my sister, "I'm not even looking to purchase another ring, but the way this woman is making me feel, if they can't do what I want, I may end up buying another engagement ring anyway!" What made the experience even more meaningful was that I had literally just walked out of another jewelry store nearby after having a very unpleasant experience. The difference between the two businesses was night and day. The moment I approached the door and rang the bell, I was immediately welcomed inside. I met both Margarita and Caesar, explained what I was hoping to create, and Caesar instantly began assisting me with professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. I came in looking to create a custom engagement ring using two rings I had already purchased, and they immediately reassured me that it could be done. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they truly cared about helping me make the right decision. Caesar and Margarita listened carefully to the direction I wanted to go while also offering thoughtful guidance and options I had not even considered. Margarita especially emphasized how important it is to choose the right ring for such a meaningful moment in life, and I completely agreed with her perspective. They provided me with a fair quote, patiently walked me through different possibilities, and then showed me several beautiful rings in the store that were honestly far better than what I had previously purchased elsewhere. What stood out most was not just the jewelry, but the atmosphere they created. They made me feel respected, important, and appreciated the entire time I was there. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine customer care completely changed my experience and restored my confidence during what should be a joyful and memorable purchase. Thank you, Margarita and Caesar, for your outstanding service, honesty, warmth, and professionalism. Experiences like this are exactly why businesses like yours deserve to be recognized and supported.

We were loyal customers of Alexander Jewelers for over 10 years, and what happened recently was…read moredeeply disappointing and heartbreaking for our family. My husband served on active duty in the United States Navy, deployed overseas between Dubai and Kuwait. During that deployment, both the engagement ring and the wedding band were specially made as symbols of commitment, sacrifice, and family. When he returned home, we wanted those two rings customized into a single ring, which is why we brought them to Alexander Jewelers. Before any warranty was issued, Alexander Jewelers first appraised and evaluated both rings, confirmed their condition, and only after that appraisal issued a Diamond & Gemstone Warranty. They were enthusiastic about the rings, willingly took them on, and over the years welded, resized, and customized the rings in their shop. We also paid for additional services and enhancements whenever recommended. As part of the warranty, we were required to bring the rings in for six-month inspections, which explicitly included complimentary cleaning -- something we did faithfully for many years, including as recently as one month ago. The warranty and inspection booklet were personally issued and signed by the owners. The inspection record is signed by Jake Tekin, and the appraisal was prepared and signed by Raymond Tekin (GIA Graduate Diamonds). Jake himself cleaned the rings many times over the years and has seen our children grow up, which makes what happened next even more shocking. When we recently came in calmly and respectfully seeking clarification about why cleaning was suddenly being refused, Jake became rude and accusatory, claiming we were "yanking his arm," "being aggressive," and "making his staff uncomfortable." None of this was true. We were not yelling, not hostile, and were simply asking reasonable questions about a sudden policy change. He also stated that we "must have been given the warranty by accident," despite years of documented service and inspections. As a long-standing family in Rancho Cucamonga (over 25 years in the community, even before Victoria Gardens was built), being falsely characterized this way during a calm conversation was deeply upsetting. We believe in respect, accountability, and honoring long-standing relationships -- especially with families who have supported a business for a decade. What should have been a straightforward discussion about policy turned into false accusations and dismissal, instead of transparency and professionalism. After years of loyalty, paid services, and trust, this experience was devastating. We will never return, will never refer anyone, and strongly caution others -- especially long-time customers and military families -- to think carefully about whether this business truly stands behind the values it claims. This was a painful end to what we believed was a trusted relationship built on shared American values.

Wanting to support a local mom n' pop business, I went to Harry for a custom made engagement ring. I brought a picture of a simple, elegant, solitaire ring I found online and asked Harry for his professional opinion regarding the layout. After some back and forth we decided on the final design and in an effort to ensure we were on the same page, I wrote down what we agreed to on the paper with the picture and gave it to him to fabricate. I picked up the ring and was so excited that I didn't realize the diamond was going the wrong way from what we had discussed until I got home. I went back and Harry looked at me like I was crazy. I asked him to produce the paper with the picture and written instructions and after a token glance around his office, he said he had shredded it. Convenient. Thinking this might have been fate, I suggested a compromise. I would propose with the ring as-is, but if my fiancé wasn't happy with the layout, I asked if Harry would be agreeable to rotate the setting to the way we had originally discussed. He agreed and that was that. I proposed and she said yes....soon afterwards, she asked why the stone was laying the way it was. I laughed and told her the story. We both took the ring back to Harry and as promised, he rotated the setting to what we had originally agreed to. Now I didn't mention this at first because I thought that in the process of the repair it would be resolved, but the ring and setting were never exactly perpendicular to one another. It was crooked from day one. After picking up the ring with the setting now in the correct position, I could tell it was still crooked but was reluctant to say anything. We took it home and thought maybe we were being too picky but we decided to just go with it. After showing her mom and girlfriends, everyone remarked how beautiful the ring was but only the bravest people closest to her remarked on how it was crooked. We begrudgingly decided we'd have to bother Harry again. We went back and apologetically told him that the ring was crooked. He looked at us as if we had three eyeballs each. He placed the ring on his mandrel while aggressively denying that it was crooked, telling us that it was an optical illusion. That our eyes were playing tricks on us....and everyone else's apparently. Sarcastically, he joked and said if "we wanted him to "fix it" and make it crooked" that he would. Eventually, he gave me the ring back from behind the glass and I calmly said, Harry, this thing is obviously crooked but if this is the quality of the product you're willing to put your name on, then I guess there's nothing that can be done. He insisted that we were wrong and sent us on our way. My fiancé and I took it to another jeweler and presented them with the ring. Careful to not lead them with my questioning, I handed it over and simply asked "do you see anything wrong with this ring?" Without hesitation, and with a somewhat disgusted look on her face, she responded "yes, it's very crooked." I asked if she could repair it and she said she most definitely could. Thanks to them, the ring is now perfect. Harry was very personable but I got the feeling he wasn't really paying attention to what I was asking for which is why I was so careful to write down what we agreed to. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking that it was probably such an easy project for him that he simply understood what was being asked of him. He fixed his mistake once and that was all we were going to get. The setting was so obviously crooked that there was no way he couldn't see it. That being the case, the only logical conclusion I could draw is that this project was no longer profitable for him and he would rather say it was us that were wrong and send us away rather than putting another minute of his own time into this ring. If all else, we have a fun story to tell about the ring and I suppose I should be thankful for that. Harry, if you still have my contact info, you can still make this right. Thanks for the beautifully crooked engagement ring.

I stopped in and casually asked XENIA (a sales associate or manager not sure), who I regularly see there but my purchases were with other sales associates. I simply asked Xenia whether the store planned on bringing in Omega watches. Instead of a professional conversation, I was met with a very pretentious and dismissive attitude. She immediately responded that she did not want Omega in "her store" because she preferred more options for women and claimed Omega has "too many references" and "does too much." And "there are other better brands." What made the interaction even more off-putting was that I was literally wearing an Omega Seamaster which she saw and noticed during this conversation. Rather than respecting a customer's interest and enthusiasm for watches, Xenia completely dismissed the brand and acted as if it was beneath the store. Everyone is entitled to their opinions on brands, but there's a professional and respectful way to communicate with customers--especially returning customers who have already spent money there. The tone and attitude throughout the interaction felt rude, unwelcoming, and condescending. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be shopping at this location specially due Xenia's overall attitude and demeanor. Customer service and professionalism matter just as much as the products being sold, and this interaction left a very negative impression.
