I waited 30 Days to post this review to give Benjamin the benefit of the doubt, to give him a…read morechance to prove his word as a property management company but here is the proof that he is a SCAM artist. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

Awhile back my finance' Rick bought a house using a Keyes Real Estate agent that he had known for…read moreawhile named Billy M. It was In Leisure City near Homestead, Fl. It was a "rent with the option to buy". Unfortunately he did not have a lawyer look over the contract. BIG MISTAKE! He just trusted the company. BIGGEST MISTAKE!! The Keyes are a huge company (probably with a dream team of lawyers). Anyhow, the house was filthy and had several open liens out against it. The sellers were irresponsible drug addicts who left an aquarium, a small dog with an eye infection and two (un neutered or spayed ) Rottweilers. As an animal lover with cats of my own-I was feeding and leaving water for these animals. The male Rottweiler got into a fight with the neighbors' Rottweiler. It was bloody and horrible! I tried and tried but could not separate the big dogs. The neighbor finally called the police. The police came and took both of the Rottweilers (even though the female wasn't even involved at all). I never found out what happened to the two dogs -(or if the male was euthanized, etc. since he had several wounds from the fight.) The sellers and real estate agency Keyes expected us (Rick and me) to continue paying a monthly rent and they had our $7,000 deposit. Finally we moved out and got a lawyer to try to get our $7,000 deposit back. The lawyer was never able to get it back and in fact could not even find out where the $7,000.00 deposit was or who had it! (I'm sure that a huge agency like Keyes Real Estate probably has a dream team of lawyers.) PLEASE be warned that this Keyes Real Estate Company is not honest and not to be trusted! And Always, always hire a lawyer and your own home inspector BEFORE signing any contracts! Hope I can help someone to not get burned like we did. Thanks.

WTH... I did better than a professional, then get this, she also told me that the dates from the palm tree, needed to get cleaned and a bunch of petty little things.... needless to say, they kept our money.. SMOOTH!!!! MR. ROTH... all these politicians are the same..SMH..I have ran across this gentleman several times and remind him of what happened, and he just plays stupid.... be very careful and every detail must be in writing....
