My son has a rare genetic dental issue, and Dr. Laura took it upon herself to do a ton of research and training on his diagnosis in order to help him. My whole family goes and sees her every 6 months, and even though nobody ENJOYS going to the dentist, we always look forward to seeing her.

I hate that I did not listen to the other reviews…read more I visited this dentist for a routine cleaning and examination because she was in network with my insurance. During the appointment, she briefly pointed to something on my X-rays but never clearly explained what she saw, what the diagnosis was, or what treatment she was recommending. She began numbing my mouth and proceeded with significant drilling without first walking me through the procedure. When she finished, I had to ask, "Did you fill a cavity?" She simply answered, "Yeah," and continued talking about unrelated things. I left the appointment without a clear understanding of what had been found or exactly what had been done. Once the numbness wore off, the tooth felt rough and uneven, with something hanging from the bottom that I could feel with my tongue. I returned to my regular dentist. He smoothed and corrected the area. He told me that he had not seen a cavity on his recent X-rays, although he acknowledged that it was possible she found something that had not been visible before. He also told me the new pain could have resulted from the drilling and that I might eventually need a root canal if it did not resolve. It has now been 6months, and the tooth is still bothering me. I had never experienced pain in that tooth before this appointment. The dentist also recommended crowns for all of my teeth and submitted an estimate to my insurance, which later appeared on my Explanation of Benefits. I was never given a clear explanation for why such extensive treatment was necessary, especially since I had no pain, visible damage, loose teeth, or other known problems. I cannot speak to her motives, but I can speak to my experience. I did not feel properly informed, I did not feel included in decisions about my treatment, and I am still dealing with pain that began after the procedure. I do not recommend this dentist.

Dr. Douleh explained the steps he was going to perform which helped me to be at ease with him as my new Dentist. As a registered professional nurse and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), Dr. Douleh understands the importance of establishing and building trusting relationships with his clients. Dr. Douleh is professional, a good listener, an expert at his craft and is confident in his abilities. Ms. Patricia was the dental assistant who helped Dr. Douleh today with my services. Their professional interactions and his tone of voice when providing directions to the dental assistant validated the respect Dr. Douleh has for his team and the clients he is privileged to care for. Thank you for a great experience today. I was a bit apprehensive but after praying I trusted the team and my services went well. BOOOOOOOOOO unprofessional and disrespectful staff. This particular establishment priorities THEIR time over their patients' time and does not communicate well with patients when complications arise. Again I've been coming to aesthetic for DECADES, so even when I moved 40 minutes away I still was going to them. For my cleaning appointment, I drove the 40 minutes in a thunderstorm only to get there to see the office completely closed with a HANDWRITTEN SIGN: "we're closed for weather, will call to reschedule!" Never mind the fact that if YOU as the PATIENT have to reschedule, aesthetic dentistry in the ivory tower require 48 hours notice MINIMUM otherwise you get penalized a $75 fee... but for aesthetic dentistry, if THEY need to reschedule, zero prior notification is necessary and a handwritten sign is sufficient. What that tells me as a patient is that my time is worthless and that I am not important. I know for a fact it is possible to give patients prior notice of closure of office due to inclement weather/power loss because that same day I also had an eye appointment and that office also lost power. One of their staff members from that office did call me on their personal cell phone to notify me that they were closed for the weather. You're telling me that there's not a single employee at aesthetic dentistry that owns a cell phone that could've called me ahead of time? Will not be coming back as I do not like to be made feel inferior or that my time is not worth anything
