Last August, my daughter's tooth was in so much pain, so we called them up that day and they had an opening. My husband immediately took my daughter, (but of course looking for parking can take a few more minutes). When my husband walked in (10 minutes late) --the receptionist told him to reschedule because he was late. She had no consideration or understanding. After back and forth dialogue with my husband, she reluctantly allowed my daughter to be seen. Additionally, we have hadmultiple charges on our account that were unclear and not well explained. More recently, after transferring to a new dentist, we requested that my daughter's X-rays be sent over. We were informed there would be a $150 fee for a copy. That does not make sense. Why are you charging $150 for a copy? When I questioned this, I was told that the fee could be "waived" if we paid a separate outstanding charge (mind you, these are the charges we have no idea why they have charged us). This is the second time we have been told that a fee could be "waived" contingent upon paying for something else, which feels inappropriate and scammy. Even when I mentioned this, the person on the phone completely disregarded anything I said. They are the nastiest customer service experience I have had in a very long time. Don't waste your time.

During that waiting period, I called multiple times asking if there were any cancellations so she could be seen sooner. Including in the days leading up to the appointment. Every single time, I was told there were no openings. The day before the appointment, after I had literally spoken to someone from the office about cancellations for a later time on the SAME DAY of our scheduled visit, I suddenly received a text saying my appointment was canceled because I "did not confirm." No phone call. No courtesy. Nothing. Just canceled. After waiting months already, their next available appointment was again MONTHS away. Completely unacceptable when dealing with children's dental care. I canceled all future appointments immediately and will never return. The scheduling system and communication are beyond frustrating, and they clearly do not value patients' time or urgency. Avoid if you actually want reliable care for your child.

I said I…read morewas here for an appointment and she didn't seem to know anything about my appointment or the schedule; she could only tell me to sign the sheet in the waiting room. Right as I was about to do this, Dr. De La Rosa stuck his head into the waiting room and told me to come in for my appointment. Also, the receptionist had a cough. One of those deep phlegm-y coughs that really did not make me feel comfortable in the midst of the omicron wave last year. She was behind a plexiglass divider, but between that cough and her not really seeming to know what was going on in the office, I'm not sure why she was even there. Dr. Alfred Dela Rosa is really sweet guy chill compared to other dentists. I had been recommended for a deep cleaning at my prior dentist, something that had never been mentioned to me before. Dr. De La Rosa said I do not need a deep cleaning because I have no gum disease. Interestingly, he also did not check my gum depth, he said for this same reason. He did the entire appointment by himself, no dental assistant. Dr. Jacqueline Dela Rosa is a pediatric dentist and she saw my kids. She has a friendly and bright demeanor and offered a treasure chest after the appointment where my daughter could pick a prize.
