Whilst i've never sent a package via Amtrak, I have recieved many via their service. I've always had good service when having items delivered to my house, packages are always well cared for and delivery attempts are generally early. On the occaisions when i've had a package delivered whilst out of the house, they have always left a detailed card explaining of their failed delivery. When collecting packages from their building, the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. In comparison with other couriers, they have been very speedy in finding and sorting out my packages. On the first occaision I visitied, I arrived at the building fairly late not knowing where reception was located. A helpful delivery driver went out of his way to park up and leave his van to come and help me out, he was chatty, friendly and very helpful.
