I had to call customer service when it was taking a while to get my debit card and the lady I spoke with went above and beyond to help me. I ended up going to a location that is open on Saturdays to get a debit card right from the location. Gabriel Baez happened to be at the Sanford, FL location and he was wonderful! Very nice, very accommodating and professional and I could not be happier! Thank you Gabriel for being so wonderful!

(Hands shoot up enthusiastically, mine included) And so it is that I found myself in this, oh, let's call it a 'money trap'. The offer came in the mail, with a special code (authentic) and several hoops to jump through (minimum deposit by a certain date after opening, opt for paperless). Having been around the bend enough times to know that I could be at risk of doing a lot for nothing, I had my ducks all in a row and checked all the boxes (or so I thought). First sign of trouble was that I couldn't create an online ID after opening the account. When I called, the agent all but laughed at me (at least it felt that way), saying it takes time, dude (to which I wanted to say, REALLY, in this day and age?). When finally I could access it online, I made a transfer from another bank - which got rejected 3 days later! In the mail, I received a statement saying I was over-drawn by $4. So off I go on the phone again. This time, I was told that the $4 was for paper statements, which I couldn't opt out of because I couldn't get an online ID. I was also told that I had to go into the branch (the very essence of "online banking convenience" apparently being the Regions motto!). Two days after jumping through that hoop, just when the deadline was coming up, I thought I'd call to make sure everything was now kosher. The agent told me, no I didn't qualify for the sign-up bonus because the offer had expired!!! In the next hour and a half, I was transferred, disconnected, credentialled time and again (even though I was on the same call), got into loops with no apparent exit... Thankfully, I finally got Myesha, who patiently heard the whole saga of my frustration, and would not let go until she set things right for me. So zero stars for Regions and their unimaginably stupid 'systems': the stars are totally for a human who treated me like a human.

The balance before I made "that payment" was $849.60, and on top of that I Paid $40 on the 14 of Feb, 2023. I called to speak to someone about it and all I got was rude representatives (x3), one could not speak American English too well and the other two were just rude and not very customer friendly, so the communication ended without getting a resolution. There are two charges mad eon the 12th and 13th,but that was before I made the $100 payment on the 16th of feb, 2023 so my balance should be $749.60 not $849.60. I could not discuss it with the reps cause they were not too customer friendly/oriented, etc. when I made the $100 payment my balance was $849.60 and that was "AFTER" the charges made on feb 12 and 13th, 2023. I know American consumers have the right to discuss their account with financial institutions and have a right to be informed and their accounts be properly credited when payments are made outwith being treated with contempt and rudeness by the financial institutions agents..

I decided I wanted to put all of my business purchases on a separate card and opened a PayPal Credit Card in about 2 minutes with a small limit. Since receiving the card, I've put on a few purchases for fuel, food, Amazon and the cleaners...all WITHOUT any drama! Today I wanted to fund an App I use for lottery purchases in my state which I have been doing for years with the Chase card, no issues. BUT today, I kept receiving "Sorry we cannot complete the transaction, contact your bank "Synchrony". So I called and got some of the truly dumbest, incapable of reasoning customer service agents I have ever had the "pleasure of dealing with!" After the agent said there were no issues on their end, I still could not load the PayPal Credit Card onto the App to use. After being on hold for several minutes, the agent came back and said (this is good!)"After speaking with my supervisor, we need to get a higher level of authorization from you. You must SUBMIT a video of yourself telling us your name, address, phone number, email address and SS#!!" I BLEW A GASKET!!!! My credit score is WELL over 825, have other credit cards with huge limits and was approved for this PAYPAL CREDIT CARD in less than 2 minutes!! I am CLOSING MY PAYPAL ACCOUNTS, CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD and blasting them here for being disrespectful and argumentative to a LONG TIME cardholder!! GOODBYE PAYPAL!!! I NO LONGER NEED YOU!!!!!!!
