Avoid DBS!! I was…read moremistakenly thinking Dave is a honest and stand-up business man after meeting him first time. First meet went well. He patiently talked me through the works involved and gave us quotes(paver and asphalt options). After about 2 weeks, we decided to choose DBS and go with asphalt. I requested to meet and sign contract. Dave came and asked for $2000 or $3000 deposit. Initially he told us no payment until work is completed for asphalt(I have copy of text message). So, I told him I prefer to pay after the job is done. Then he started saying I offered to give him deposit when contract is signed. I NEVER told him that(why would I do that?!). But in the end he said that's fine and told us the job will not start at least for another 2 weeks. I'm okay with that and we both signed the contract. We patiently waited 2+ weeks and I tried reaching out to him to find out if job is scheduled via calls and text messages and he never responded. It's been more than a month now. We decided to pass DBS and find some other professional paving company(Hicks Paving) for the job. I'm glad that I did not give Dave/DBS the $2-3K deposit requested. However we lost one month naively waiting Dave/DBS. Honestly, I would be ok if he could at least show some professional courtesy by letting us know he couldn't take the job at this moment. But he chose to ignore. Are you comfortable giving business to owner like this? I am not.

For a number of reasons I was never happy with the enclosure. I was sure that there must be a better way to enclose a pool, but short of converting it to an indoor pool, I was clueless. None of the local pool companies was of any help, but fortunately I found Pool & Spa enclosures on the web. As others have written, John and Alex are absolutely great to work with. Their enclosures are everything they say they are. The engineering and quality of construction are outstanding, as is the performance of the enclosure. Today, April 21, the outside air temp is 78. Inside the enclosure the air temp is 97, and the water temp is 83. Even though my pool is unheated, I have been swimming in 80 degree water since late March. Previously with the screened enclosure my pool never hit 80 until May. Ditching the screened room and replacing it with a sliding pool enclosure was a great decision. The new enclosure has exceeded my expectations in every way. Great product from a great company!

When we questioned him about the company's numerous negative reviews, he assured us that those reviews were not about his business and convinced us to move forward with a new driveway installation. Unfortunately, the driveway began failing within a week of completion. When we contacted the company regarding the issues, they initially promised to return and honor their warranty. After that, they completely disappeared and stopped responding. We are now facing thousands of dollars in repair costs to correct the poor workmanship they left behind. Despite advertising a 10-year warranty, they would not even address major problems that appeared within three weeks of installation. Their installation method was also concerning. Rather than properly removing and replacing the existing driveway, they left most of the old driveway in place, cut only the front and rear entrance sections, and applied a layer of new asphalt over the existing surface. This appears to be a shortcut designed to reduce costs, but it is a known cost cutting short cut that is not the proper industry practice. The workmanship was poor, the warranty was meaningless, and the customer service vanished as soon as payment was made. It's disappointing to trust what seemed like a hardworking local company only to be left with a failed driveway and expensive repairs. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We will be moving forward with BBB reviews, legal action and any other way we can pursue this so other customers dont have to suffer the same issue.
