The employees were welcoming and helpful. The restrooms were clean and stocked. Overall very happy with this stop. Everything worked properly and was well stocked out by the pumps. I appreciated an ADA parking spot I can practically toss myself in the door so close but when there are a pile of rando people loitering, that just gets awkward. It felt like a regular issue too. Packed gas station market has people wanting the burritos they cook, but employees have closed the food section and won't cook more. Packed place, gas makes low profit margins, owners strive to get customers in the door to buy high profit items especially from the deli, which is closed. 4 people asking for the deli products refused. I drive down the street to the in and out burger and it's a 30 min wait line around the block and the inside dining packed. There is a demon and demographic yet the market wants to be in the habit training the Friday night customers of the casino going home that they no longer have the late night snacks. As an owner of 7eleven we would never have our deli items shut down at prime time. In addition, the place was packed with employees. Wasn't a labor issue. Just poor decisions

Today however, I walked my 1 year old Canaan Dog a mile and a half to West Street Grocery; bought exactly $19.75 worth of stuff. Asked the owner if I could have a small paper coffee cup (to pour bottled water for my dog). He rang it up for 50¢! A bit shocked I said "really?" and he replied "you buy for you, I no charge. you buy for dog, I charge." I'm like seriously? I just spent 19.75 in here! He just shrugged. I added (because by this time I'm RIGHTEOUSLY indignant) "honestly, with another convenience store right across the street (Zatterburgs), I'm surprised you'd actually charge me anything.....I live here, I stop here, why on earth would you charge me for a small paper cup?" His response? "You no like, don't come here." This is a veeeeery small town. And most of us have dogs. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
