**Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct by Employee Gary at Maverick…read more(Lemoore)** To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an employee named Gary at the Maverick location in Lemoore. My partner and I had an extremely negative experience due to his unprofessional, disrespectful, and confrontational behavior. When I initially interacted with Gary, he spoke to me respectfully. However, as soon as my partner began asking questions and attempting to explain her concerns, his entire attitude changed. He repeatedly interrupted her, spoke over her, and refused to let her finish speaking. His tone became hostile and dismissive. At one point, my partner said, "I'm not done speaking. Please let me finish." Instead of allowing her to speak, Gary responded with words to the effect of, "Well, I'm speaking first," and continued interrupting her. Throughout the interaction, he shrugged his shoulders, displayed obvious attitude, and acted in a way that was intimidating and disrespectful. The stark difference between how he treated me and how he treated my female partner was disturbing. While I cannot know his intentions, the contrast in his behavior left us feeling that she was being treated differently because she is a woman. Because of his behavior, we requested a supervisor. Unfortunately, even after the supervisor arrived, Gary continued displaying the same disrespectful attitude in front of management without being corrected. This gave us the impression that his conduct was tolerated rather than addressed. No customer should be treated this way. We left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and disappointed by both Gary's behavior and the lack of intervention by management. I respectfully request that Maverick conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, including speaking with the supervisor who witnessed the interaction and reviewing any available security footage. I also ask that appropriate corrective action be taken to ensure other customers do not experience similar treatment. Thank you for taking this complaint seriously. I look forward to hearing what steps will be taken in response.

He looked so confused it totally made me mad that she didn't just do it. So me being me said " No one likes this,Why can't you just do your jobs" ? Where is the customer service these days ? I dont like it how grocery stores and drug stores are having customers ring themselves out. I didn't sign up for a part time job. Plus I didn't see any prices being dropped because I worked my own register . After all that was $ 20.00 and hour savings for the store. Right ? So I'm going to check into mail order. Im done with all this. CVS listen to your customers. Or be without jobs. No customers, no CVS. If you all are done with this. Please let them know too.

Yolanda at Smart & Final was wonderful to me tonight. I had a cart full of stuff, and I got up to…read morethe checkstand and started putting things down and then realized I had left my bags in my car. Because I'm 73 and my hands hurt, I have special bags that are easier to carry from my car into the house when I get home, so it was important for me to go get them. My car was in the first handicapped space right in front of the door and I knew it would only take me a second to dash out and get them; there was only one woman behind me so I told her and the checker what happened, had her go ahead and go in front of me, and I ran out for just a few seconds, and hit my bags. But when I came back, there were five people behind her. I was stressed and didn't know what to do because I didn't want to jump the line, but 1/2 of my groceries had gone though the conveyer belt. The checker "Yolanda" saw my distress and leaned over and said to me "it's OK, I've got you, I put your things aside right here next to me and I'll just bring them to you when you get up here". I was so relieved by her kindness I was nearly in tears. When I finally got to her she was even more sweet and patient. She rang me up, bagged my groceries for me, and actually walked around her counter and put my bags into my cart for me. She had noticed that I gave her many more bags than I would need, and when I saw her begin to bag them I'd asked her to please use more of the bags to keep them light because I had a hard time lifting them. So of course (considering the caring heart that I'd already seen she had) she even put them in the cart for me. Yolanda is the epitome of what customer service personnel should be like, but sadly that kind of friendly and helpful service is found less and less often. Smart & Final, my advice is that you should Immediately promote Jessica to training your staff. I've been a manager and have trained staff in varied areas of business, and I'd steal her from you in a second if I wasn't retired. That girl is management material and should at the very least be a training supervisor. She's one in a million.
