This was one of the nastiest bathrooms I have been in. The bathroom smelled like urine and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks.

Tollhouse Market And Grill

I decided to take a short motorcycle ride through the hills and one of my favorite places to stop…read moreis at the Tollhouse Market and Grill. The ride up the hill is always relaxing and scenic, at times you can see wild turkeys and other wildlife, taking the old Millerton road you ride past a property that has Bison, Alpacas and Giraffes along with horses and cattle. A ride with a late breakfast was in order so after riding through the hills it was time to satisfy my biker appetite and dig into some delicious food. As you can see I chose a hearty meal something common but still appreciated. The restaurant was a buzz with other travelers and with the TV on and conversation wafting through the air the thought of my travels around the lower 48 states occupied my mind. The service was prompt (never an empty coffee cup) and even the proprietor shared the duty of checking the customers at the counter bar (he was very cool). The decor was reflective of the years gone by and I could identify myself with some of the items seen, always a nice touch. Be sure to travel and see the these small mom n pop business you gain much more than just a good meal, included is a view to the past and maybe just maybe a glimpse of yourself back in time.

Although a bit out of the way from town, Tollhouse Market and Grill is one of my go-to stops…read morewhenever I'm in the area! It's a small little convience store/restaurant on making Tollhouse Road with a large menu of many American and Italian cuisine classics. Everytime, you are instantly greeted with the friendly, Tollhouse charm of the staff. I would recommend calling in your order ahead of time, as it can take 10-20 minutes for it to be ready. My favorite item from them is the Reuben sandwich, a pastrami served on grilled marbled rye bread with 1000 islander dressing, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. The menu says that it comes with a pickle spear, but I think that I have only had that once when I dined in. It also comes with French fries that are well seasoned and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sandwich is always so perfectly cooked and juicy and leaves you feeling satisfied with the portion size. Truly the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had. As much as I have wanted to try other options on the menu, their Reuben is just that exceptional that I absolutely need to get it anytime I'm near the area.

One I get thru the line as at times the drive thru can take 20 mins…read more Anyhow once I get to the window, to pick up meds most of the time it goes smoothly. I have the Walgreens app so when the meds are ready, I get a text saying that they're ready for pick up. I also order my meds with this app so it's important to get that as well. Yesterday when I went and picked up my supplies I had a real nice experience a male person who was real tall. I got my name and went and pulled my order and a pharmacist called and asked if I had any questions and if there were any questions, they're happy to answer him if not to feel free to give them a call that's real nice. When the pharmacist takes an active role in this process, you can ask any question there's never a dumb question I promise you I hope you have a good a good experience as I have. And if Devon is involved, it will surely be a great one. He is so helpful and he really cares for the people there and the customers he's got real good customer service thank you.

Up until several days ago, I liked them despite their slow pharmacy. Before I left the store I…read morechecked my receipt because I couldn't figure out why my total was so much. Then I realized I had been overcharged for the nuts that I thought were on sale. Someone possibly a customer put the tag over the nuts that I wanted. Since they weren't going to honor the price, I said to give me a refund. She said I need an ID to make the return even though I hadn't left her site. I only stepped aside from her register. That infuriated me because not only are you saying I can't have the product I want but you're saying that I need to leave the store go across the street get my ID and come back even though there's no way I could commit fraud. She is saying there's no way for her to go around that rule when the whole purpose of that rule is probably to prevent fraud I'm guessing. Otherwise, why would you need an ID to return something that you literally just handed to me and I handed right back to her. I would not have been so pissed about the price tag being wrong if she hadn't made me leave the store to go get my ID. I was not responsible for that tag being in the wrong spot I thought I had checked the tag like I typically do to make sure that a good thing that seems to be good to be true is or isn't. I made a mistake that day didn't take a picture so I can confirm. Instead of just giving me a break and either giving me the price that the tag said or letting me return the product without my ID they made me go through hoops.
