Terrible service! So…read moreI get here and try to buy a tire pressure gauge. So I swipe my card and there was an error she says. She tells me to try again. Didn't work again. She then tells me it has been doing this all day. So I go back to the car to grab a $5 to pay with cash. As I am coming back in theres a disgruntled customer who says that even though the purchase of his gas was declined he got charged twice!!! I check my account and so have I. I ask the person what I need to get my money back. She says the owners policy (apparently this happens enough for there to be a dag gone policy) is to wait for the transaction to clear then bring in a bank statement and plead my case. So not only did I get charged twice, I still might not get my money. This isn't how you treat customers! Ever. Had this been my business I would have refunded the customer right there because I know I'm going to get the money via the card already. So instead of getting $2.15 from me this guy got $6.45 from me. I called my bank and apparently they cant do anything either in the mean time. If the owner doesn't give me a refund then I have to dispute the charge. All because your card reader is messed up and a dumb refund policy. Lost my patronage for life.

Went in made a purchase..wanted a scratch ticket..looked in car for cash...went back in about 3 min…read morelater..didnt want to use bank card...found coins to get cash for a scratch ticket...just 2$ no biggie...walk up to counter ...Cashier and I were the only ones in there...and he immediately pulls cash tray open to take out...lights on Open sign flashing away...door unlocked...and had the nerve to say he was CLOSED...as if we are not looking at each other eye to eye ...He had a mean demeanor...kinda robotic natureish lol...FYI watch him...you may need to have your holy oil on deck...

How about adequate Andy or I sometimes have what you came in for Andy? Its not terrible, but its about par with a standard mini-mart. One issue I have with the place is the stock rotation. They know stuff is expired and they say they'll get rid of it but I've seen them keep it on the shelves. Lastly is the housewares section. They have some really weird stuff that hasn't sold a single item in years. No hair ties but about 40 do rags. No charcoal or lighter fluid, but framed picture of Bob Marley in prismatic colors? Check! So if your in need Adequate Andy might have your back.

This little local "Daily Stop" mini-mart near the Brownsville Marina looks like it was transplanted…read morestraight out of Route 66. Only this is Route 303. Check out the photo, if you want to see what I mean. They don't have everything, but they sure try. They have the best, most lively earthworms for bait you'll find anywhere. And plenty of beer. Beer is important. While there, we heard the nice woman at the counter immediately turn on a guy who she said came in drunk one night and yelled at her, then ran out and drove off. At first he tried to deny it was him, probably to save face to his companion, but the Daily Stop lady minced no words in clarifying the matter -- no, it WAS him, that she remembered, "you know, that night you were REALLY drunk and came in here and yelled at me and drove off? I called the cops on you and they were looking for you." He shook his head meagerly. He knew he was SOOOO caught! Then she ignored him and rolled her eyes over to us, and in her sweetest voice and asked us what size hooks we needed, and if she could help us with anything else... Gotta love being treated with the "good sibling" effect. Well worth the price of admission to this little store out in the middle of nowhere.

Just a Great reminder of the days when things weren't quite so Hustle & Bustle or commercialized. Pick up a Soda Pop, Jerky, Maybe a Cold Beer or two, Some wine, A Can Opener, A Lottery Ticket (Ya never know....), Ice Cream, Napkins..... Just a little bit of everything here and a few bonus items. Even the old Candy Bar aisle, although not much "penny" candy left. Always a friendly attendant, with some friendly conversation. Always worth the visit, make it your "Daily Stop"

The doctor I work with and I stopped here the other morning to grab snacks and breakfast for the…read moreday. Upon entering the store, the gentleman working at the register greeted us. The store was clean and the shelves were stocked. I grabbed a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich for my doctor and checked out. The cashier was equally as friendly during this process as he was when we first entered. Here's where it gets nasty. Not even an hour after my doctor consumed her sausage breakfast sandwich, the absolute worst sound and smell erupted from her bottom. Knowing she didn't eat or drink anything else that morning, we both knew it was the sausage breakfast sandwich. This sandwich caused us to evacuate our hospital for minutes until the smell left (although it did linger for hours after unfortunately). Overall, this location has great staff, great presentation, but BE AWARE of the sausage breakfast sandwich!!!!!
