Then we each ordered ourselves our own personal pizza which I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken pizza which a small is only 10" which was a perfect size. The pizza was amazing and I never like pickles on my pizza but this was done perfectly. The sauce, the ingredients and the crust was delicious. Definitely a really good spot to come and try out when you come visit.

The cheese pizza had almost no sauce and tasted like the Italian seasoning they sprinkled all over it and nothing else. The Italian sausage hoagie was a joke. Little tasteless gray balls of sausage and it was so sweet it tasted like they just poured sugar all over it instead of Parmesan. My kid liked the alfredo, but I didn't like the price for how much he got. Then at the end the waitress charged us for stuff we didn't order and the check just has numbers on it so without the menu in front of you it's hard to figure out where the error occurred. On my recent dining here, I shared the pork belly entree and chicken tikka masala. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with the carrot puree. The dish came with brussels sprouts and rice. It was a very satisfying dish. The chicken tikka masala was good too, but needed more spices. Their menu is small and does not seem to have changed. It would be great if they added specials or changed things up once in a while. They serve beer and wine.

The exceptions were the lasagna and chicken parmesan. The lasagna just wasn't good at all and the chicken was overdone and dry. I found the pizza decent, but the rest of the family was less impressed. Our oldest said it reminded her of high school pizza and others reported it was bland. We didn't complain but someone was kind enough to provide a complimentary cheesecake with the sauces. One who sampled it didn't find it to be that wonderful either.

I think they made a good effort and we would come back. The pizza dough was tasty, and sized right for me. The cheesy bread was not so great and too dried out. The salad was simple but adequate. We also ordered bruschetta which was too mild and kind of ordinary but maybe that's what the locals like. Usually there is more seasoning, olive oil in the mix and a more toasted baguette slices.

Beckley surprised us once again, this spot turned out to be such a delicious treasure that we kept coming back like well-trained food pilgrims. The food was fantastic. Truly. Some of the best chicken shawarma, hummus, and tabouli I've had in ages, fresh, flavorful, and made with clear love. The kind of meal that makes your tired hiking muscles perk up and whisper, "Oh yes, this is the good life." It was the most flavorful, but it was definitely really good. It wasn't out of a can. And it was very reasonably priced! I have spent more money at fast food places than I did for my dinner. The service was good, the atmosphere was decent and the place smells great inside! This place seems to be pretty popular and I'm not surprised. It was pretty full for the duration of my meal. I would absolutely eat here again.

Mind you, the restaurant was not packed, but they seated us in between two tables when there were at least 6 other open tables in the room. Server was quick, friendly. I ordered breadsticks, not realizing that they provide bread for the table (I made the assumption they didn't based on the menu having bread and breadsticks listed). The breadsticks were a very odd texture - seemed doughy but they were not undercooked, lots of butter & garlic. I had the stuffed shells for my entree. My salad consisted of lettuce and cut up tomatoes (which I hate), nothing more. Therefore I had lettuce with my French dressing. The entree came out quickly and looked great. However, the ricotta on the inside of the stuffed shells was super creamy and not very tasty. The sauce was ok, not sweet enough for my liking, but not bad either. The shells themselves were al dente, but seemed chewy. My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he enjoyed. He ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti as his side. The chicken parm looked great, but seemed to be a frozen chicken patty that was deep fried and drenched in sauce/mozzarella. The spaghetti was pretty good. Overall, meh. Won't be back, but we had something to eat and supported local not a franchise so there's that.
