You know how when someone has a great experience with a physical therapist, they can't wait to talk…read moreabout how much the person helped get them back to their healthier, more able-bodied self? Well, this is NOT going to be one of those times. This place is a borderline disaster. In 10 appointments, I saw FIVE different therapists. There was minimal communication between any of them, and I did different exercises each time-all of which seemed to be what the therapist du jour felt like having me do. So zero consistency, not to mention the main therapist who runs this center is rude and judgmental-just so quick to turn her nose up at you. In fact, after overhearing that I am a snowboarder, she walked across the room and butted in just to say how horrible it is to be on the mountain with snowboarders. I responded by letting her know how many times I've picked up and carried the flailing skis & poles left behind by her kind, but I digress.... Anyway, I ONLY went here because it was a worker's comp and they didn't give me a choice. I had multiple injuries, and actually had to tell them to give up on one just to focus on the other two because they clearly couldn't get their act together. It was very frustrating to get reevaluated during my last week there, and have them look at me cross-eyed and sideways when the results showed that I hadn't made any progress...as if they just couldn't imagine why. So for injuries that, while fairly serious, really could've been addressed by physical therapy, I now need surgery because it's been too long without progress. Needless to say, I'll never go here again and NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

I came in to Kessler after looking at physical therapy places by my house, this one was 4 mins…read moreaway. Visited their website and was impressed, they have many location so it shows how successful they are. I suffered a back injury a few months prior. Woke up and could barely bend my back or move around without pain. It felt like a disc herniation. I decided to just let it heal on its own. Eventually after a week or 2, my back felt okay enough where I went back to the gym. That was a mistake, it was re-aggravated but this time I felt more pain going down my left leg. I called their office and spoke to Alex. She was very nice and helpful from the first phone call. To me, one of the first thing I look in a business is their front desk staff. It usual is a good indicator of everything else with that business. My therapist was Kelvin. He's young but it seem like he's been doing this for years. He assessed my back and leg. Worked on my imbalance hip/pelvic, had me some core strengthening exercises, and I left my first visit feeling good. With my condition, we knew it take time to fully resolve my back/leg pain. Kelvin always gave you his honest opinion anytime you ask him something. Another thing about his style is that he wants you to be independent, he will call you out if he sees you "cheating" on your exercises. It's all about proper form and doing it a slow pace so you can feel each stretch/contraction. My PT was only a month due to my insurance. In that month, my core feels stronger, the pain has decreased, and my attention to posture has become a larger focus when I sit or stand too long. The equipment and facility itself is also very new and always look clean. To sum it up, I enjoyed my time getting PT at Kessler, the staff was friendly and my PT did an amazing job on my back/leg.

I can't say enough good things about COPT Comprehensive Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Parsippany…read more From day one, it's been clear that the therapists here are not only knowledgeable, but truly invested in helping you improve. I'm currently being treated for a frozen shoulder, and what I appreciate most is how thoughtfully they approach each session. They take the time to listen, adjust the therapy to what works best for you, and push you in a very intentional, measured way so you continue making progress without feeling overwhelmed. My experience here has been a stark contrast to two other PT clinics I tried before. Those felt impersonal--either I was left doing exercises on my own with little supervision, or sessions felt rushed and strictly capped, like they were just trying to move patients through. At COPT, it's the opposite. The team really gets to know you, builds a strong relationship, and makes you feel supported every step of the way. You can tell they genuinely care about your recovery and long-term health. If you're looking for a place that combines expertise with a personal touch, this is it.

I would like to place on record the excellent treatment I have received at Comprehensive Physical…read moreTherapy (COPT) at Somerset. I have had a chronic pain (Tennis elbow) since the last 18-20 months that I was treating through my orthopedic who prescribed Meloxicam and Advil as needed. These medicines have long term issues impacting kidney and liver functions. A friend recommended Gopal Patel at COPT in Somerset and I started my PT under his guidance in mid September 2023. I am very happy to state that I have been cured over 95% and pain intensity is a thing of the past. Gopal is an excellent therapist who never looks at the clock and works tirelessly to treat the symptoms and ensure the patient gets relief from the first therapy itself. I call him a magician as he has been able to help me gain strength and now I am able to do all my chores with ease. Earlier even navigating the car steering was a problem but not any more. I am very very happy to have discovered COPT and drive quite a distance for my therapy - all because the COPT folks genuinely care. All his therapists are experts and extremely patient with the patients. I have seen so many smiling faces and the atmosphere is positive and lively. The entire set up is very clean and there is coffee and water for all. I highly recommend Comprehensive Physical Therapy to all who are in pain. Thank you Gopal Patel for your amazing treatment.

Dr. Ronald Spiaggia is a rare find. PRRM occupies a special place in my heart…read more I am a person who makes decisions with gut, rather than logic. Right at the first visit, I was certain that Dr. Spiaggia is trustworthy and that I am in safe hands. When all other doctors disregarded an MRI, he was the first person to prescribe it and then provided a bang on target, spot-on review of my condition. This man has his profession inside his blood cells, what a knowledgeable professional he is! This was when I believed that someone actually understood my problem and also what to do to make it better. I suffered from disabling cluster headache on the left side and wasted a year meeting neurologists. They are so pathetically incompetent and do not view the problem from a holistic perspective. They would only write medication after medication. Dr. Spiaggia's diagnosis that the pain was coming from the neck, totally changed the way I thought about the pain. After years of progressive degeneration of the neck resulting from sitting in front of the screen, I came to a conclusion that I had cervicogenic pain. The exercises recommended by the physical therapists helped to drastically bring down the duration of my cluster headache. The PT aides repeatedly ensured that my exercise form was correct and that all the exercises were completed by me. Thanks to Dr. Kevin Tabije for performing the trigger point injections. Their Chiropractic was below expectations and it could have been more efficient. Yet, it can be overlooked for the other things. I never missed a single appointment in my 6 weeks of therapy, after which I had to go back to California. Thank you so much for playing a big part in my healing journey, PRRM.
