I was hoping for a doctor that was up to date with the latest medical practices and treatment options. I did not get that. I had to hand feed these options to the Doctor. He seemed offended that I had questions. After a couple questions, he had one foot out the door. One of the last things he said to me before he exited the room was "You probably have prostate cancer." I was stunned. I was given referrals (referrals I basically demanded) to get another blood test, and an MRI. I scheduled those tests, but after speaking with two other physicians, I decided to no longer use Klaiman Urology. I was told by the other physicians that I should file a complaint. I decided that instead of a complaint, I will use my time wisely and find a better team of doctors. Doctors who are up to date with the latest practices and treatment options. My time is valuable. I don't plan on wasting anymore time with this practice.

The absolute WORST "doctor" or office ever. He saw me 09/08/17 for a follow up after an overnight…read morestay at Florida Hospital Winter Garden for a kidney infection, fluid, and 5 kidney stones (it was 6 but one passed, now it's 4). In his office room I stressed my past kidney history and explained the urgency of my issues, as I have extensive history and major surgery history for one of my kidneys. I told him I was in pain, and his suggestion: take an Aleeve. Has this man experienced anything more than a skinned knee or sprained ankle? That's his idea of doctoring? Because my small kids were with me I decided I'd readdress pain management at our follow up appt after my scans. I got the scans performed, 09/21/17 at FRI off Princeton St downtown, and was originally supposed to have 3: sonogram of my abdomen, X-ray of my abdomen, and a CT scan. Got the first two done and the tech said I was good to go, and I said I was told a CT scan was also on the list. She said "Dr. Hernandez is here today, let me go ask him." She left for about 7 min and returned to say "Dr. Hernandez reviewed the sonogram and X-ray and based on what he sees there he said a CT scan isn't necessary." I questioned it in my head, but left anyway. Four days later his office calls asking why I didn't get the CT scan. I explained what happened and they said "You have to go get a CT scan. Dr. Hernandez said so." EXCUSE ME??? I was already there, paid a $35 copay and $40 to a babysitter just to go there and you expect me to cough up another $75 because DR EDUARDO HERNANDEZ dropped his own ball and won't admit it or take accountability? I'm supposed to have an appt today, but Maria has made me frightened to be in the office. I'm entitled to a doctor visit to go over the results of my scan with him, and discuss pain management. Maria said Eduardo Hernandez doesn't deal with pain management, which is false, but if it was true then he'd be unauthorized to suggest I take anything other than a nap for my pain, of which he recommended Aleeve. This is a dangerous office. They bully patients (Maria called me twice on Wednesday and yelled at me incredibly inappropriately, to which I sure did yell back because I'm over their misconduct and not taking accountability for their screw ups). I am going to post this on every single site affiliated with Dr. Hernandez, because people need to know their health isn't priority here, and that their staff, well just Maria actually, are ill fit to hold a position where they're forced to "put out fires", when they're better at starting them. I will keep an update of my appointment at 10:45 today, where I'm sure I'll be refused treatment because I'm being a "difficult patient". That's fine. If I'm labeled difficult because I stood up for my health, so be it. For the record: every single tech and front desk staff at FRI has the same complaint about Dr. Eduardo Hernandez: he's rude and dismissive. The tech who asked him about the CT scan said he was "almost offended" she'd bother interrupting him to ask for a CT when it was "evident I didn't need any further scans past the sono and X-ray". Stay away from Florida Hospital in general because they've been a nightmare. Orlando Health is where you can almost always count on at least acceptable health care when you need it most. *Please have risk management call. I've dealt with a Diane before. This is urgent.*

I put off surgery because of so many possible side affects that can occur. Yes, you will spend a lot of time waiting in the office to see Dr. Cohen. Suck it up. He is worth the wait. I have been in the office only 6 times total. Only 2 times did I have longer waiting times. Now the good part. No side affects. I had two procedures because I had a protruding bladder opening he also fixed. I had bleeding for about 4 weeks. This was longer than normal but I had a more complicated surgery. All done by computer. He maps out what he wants removed and the computer does only that part which leaves your sexual functions intact and I have had no urine seepage whatsoever. He is the best Dr. in the world in my opinion. Wish I had done it earlier. Has changed my enjoyment of life immeasurably. He is a Dr. not an ass kisser. Do you want it fixed or not. He can actually do it and does so with great care. Can not recommend him highly enough.

When you call to reschedule, they deny anyone cancelled the appointment. When you are lucky enough to actually have an appointment that you show up early for, if you're lucky, 3 hours later you might actually see the Dr. If you get medicine prescribed, it's always for 1 cycle only with no refills. When you call for a refill, the receptionist immediately puts you on hold. 15 minutes later she might answer or she might not. More than likely the VRU sends you to an extension that tells you to leave a message. Ok, except the inbox is FULL and is not accepting messages. This place defies description of how bad it actually is.
