I visited Carnegie Mellon University, and they arranged a ride to and from the airport for me with Amore' Limousines. The advance communications about my reservation were excellent, with multiple reminders and detailed instructions of where to meet my driver (Ray Harris), who was waiting for me with a sign even though my flight arrived a bit early. On the drive to Pittsburgh, Ray was a great tour guide, telling me about the history of Pittsburgh, pointing out beautiful views, and sharing interesting information. The car was clean, and I felt he was a very safe driver. Ray was also my driver for the trip back to the airport for an early flight (4:15 am pickup). I am always worried about such early pickups when I need to catch a flight. Ray knew on Tuesday that he would be the one taking me back to the airport on Thursday and assured me that he would be there early waiting for me. When I came downstairs at 4:10 am, there he was, as promised. Again, very prompt, courteous, and kind. I would highly recommend Ray to anyone who needs transportation in the Pittsburgh area. read more

I hired Amore through Thumbtack but was a little nervous after coming to Yelp and seeing these reviews. Fortunately, I'm happy to say that I had an amazing experience with Amore and would happily recommend them to anyone! I booked an 8 person limo as transportation to and from the Taylor Swift concert. Rick was an awesome, friendly driver, was on time, communicated well on his status and location after the concert. The limo was stocked with cans of pop and glasses for us to drink the champagne we provided. Price was super reasonable relative to other companies that I got a quote from as well. Extremely disappointed. Hired Amore Limousines for my daughter's wedding. All was paid in full before the event. I confirmed everything with owner/manager, Rick, and we were set to go. I thought they would be a great vendor. It was 94 degrees the day of our wedding. Amore arrived with a limo bus that had no air conditioning. When my daughter and son tried to talk with the driver about the circumstances he was rude and irritated. Obviously we continued on with the day, as there were no options. I understand that mechanical breakdown can happen at any time. What I can't understand is that no one at Amore cared enough about their customer to 1) tell us in advance that the limo had no air conditioning 2) initiate a call afterward to apologize that the breakdown occurred 3) return our calls (we called multiple times to ask that the owner/manager call us) to discuss the matter. I'm writing this review so future families do not waste their monies on a vendor that is not committed to premier customer service. If you placed a deposit with this vendor, I would find another provider and minimize your potential loss. I did not ask for a refund. I asked for a return phone call. Avoid at all costs!! Driver was at least 45 mins late(I stopped counting) to our Saturday wedding. There was no partition, the limo looked like someone keyed it, there were barely any drinks (2 cans of pop), and i spilled my drink all over my white tux because the driver drove like he had 5 stars in Los Santos! I used Amore Limo Service to provide transportation for a business dinner. Rick was very easy to communicate with and I never had to wait long for a reply. My Regional Manager said "They did a great job and the customer service was spot on" and he is not easy to please. I will definitely be using Amore in the future! read more

I used this service in the past and was so satisfied my party decided to use it again this year for our annual event. Where do I begin... the driver was late, my pick up was 9pm he arrived at 9:26p. The limo was not stocked, there was no music connections. When I called to inquire why I was informed by Rick that the driver would be able to pick one up for me (aux cord).. I was upset because now instead of starting my event I had to ride around Pittsburgh to find a connection cord to listen to our music. the other alternative was to listen to the radio as expressed by Leah. "What radio" I asked. I don't know too many people who party using Fm radio .Did I say that Rick stopped answering my calls!!! We rode around looking for a store to obtain a cord from only for the driver "Dave" to say "I am not getting a cord because they won't give me my money back" Leah also told me that I should have brought a cord with me!!! (really) I also could have got an uber for the night and had a better experience and cheaper. I have worked in customer service for many years not once have I ever been so disrespected. The goal is always retention Amore Limousine!! (the continued possession of a consumer) I paid for a service that I did not receive. When I asked what compensation I would receive for the inconvenience she (Leah ) said we can add 10 min to your trip.. did I mention that he was late and we were riding around looking for an auxiliary cord... on my time!!! I expressed my frustration and I guess Leah was frustrated as well( still cant understand why she was) she told me " If you stop talking I"ll tell you" ... I lost it!!!! she fought with me as if I did something wrong. Like I was bothering her!! I was so confused and appalled. I kept saying " hold on I am the customer and you did not provide the experience that we paid for , why are you mad?" she hung up on me and I called back 6x before she would answer. When she did she offered me a refund if I would get out!!! I accepted and we got out. I spoke with Rick on numerous occasion and told him this is an annual event and I loved the service so much last year we came back again this year. We requested the same driver we had such a great experience the first year. Word of advice by reading these other reviews, KEEP LEAH OFF THE PHONE and Leah if you are the owner like you claim.. you need to hire an assistant because your people skills SUCK!!!!! fyi this bad experience has opened up doors for our annual event thank you. We are now with a distinguished limousine company who heard our story and provided EXCEPTIONAL service last minute. So the night was not a total wash. Looking forward to my refund!!!! read more

I called and spoke to a very friendly lady on the phone to confirm all the information I sent in. Tiffany our driver was GREAT! She made the kids feel super comfortable and made sure they enjoyed their ride. She was on time for pick and getting the kids to the prom and home. Thank you again!! Our family used amore airport limo service on 2 occasions. Both times, we asked if we needed to call ahead to get picked up on time upon returning to Pittsburgh. Amore assured us that they would be there. Both times they were not. On the most recent time, for our last pick up the driver did not get out of the van to help load luggage. On the return trip we spent over an hour trying to get someone to take us home. After two long flights (total of 12.5 hours). That's the last thing anyone would want to do. One of our group called to address the issue with the company. The office attendant was very rude and uncooperative. Needless to say we will not use them again. read more

TERRIBLE experience with this company (Amore Limo and Morgan Coach are owned by the same people)....We rented a 56-passenger motorcoach and a 10-passenger limo from Amore Limosuine for my July 1, 2011 wedding. The air conditioning was not operating on the motorcoach that we rented for transporation for 40+ wedding guests. It was 90 degrees outside and above 100 degrees on the bus, and passengers were extremely hot and miserable. My 80-year-old grandmother began having symptoms common to heat stroke. My brother had to tell the bus driver to pull over, they were not going to go any further on the bus. The bus driver never told us that he had contacted his company regarding the issue because it would have taken over an hour for the bus to be replaced; he just kept driving and, at one point, was even driving on the road with the bus door open. Everyone was let off the bus at a gas station, halfway to the reception, and all the guests had to find rides to the reception. This was a nightmare! The bride/groom had to share thier limo ride with 6 guests because there was no room for them in other cars. After multiple attempts to talk about reimbursement for the bus, the company's owner continued to avoid us and would not meet with us. He offered a $200 refund (my parents paid over $1700 for the motorcoach and limo). Our deposit for the bus was $250, and for the limo was $125. He will not refund our deposits. I finally accepted the $200 refund on 9/3/11 and requested that the refund be sent within one week. As of today, 9/9/11 we have not received anything and they will not return our messages. In addition to this, the limo ride for the bride/groom from the reception back to the hotel at the end of the night was subpar - as the driver did not know where she was going and had to take directions from the bride and groom. This company never even once called to apologize about this incident after the wedding. If you could see their business office, you would not want to rent from them. Very shady. I suggest using another company. And go to their office to see how thier business is run, if I had done that in the first place, I would have passed on using Amore' Limosuine. read more
