Sold me ammo that under preformed with failure to feed. They claimed 1400fps, I got 800-900fps. I contacted the manufacturer and cc them in the email. They blamed the brand new gen12 shotgun that shots everything else just fine. I even loaded the ammo into a different shotgun and had the same under performances with failure to feed. Recently ordered 6 boxes of 45acp from these guys. It arrived in a box large enough to ship over 1000 rounds. They didn't even try to fill the rest of the box with packing material, just crumbled a few pieces of brown paper into it to fill the air gap (which was 95% of the box). When my package arrived all of my boxes of ammo inside were torn up and there was loose ammo everywhere. Since technically my final product wasn't damaged or unusable, I had just planned to add them to the list of businesses that wouldn't get my money in the future. Wal-mart's shelves are bone dry and I just bought myself an SKS. Mega fail...until I discovered ammunition to go. Once I ordered my ammo I expected it to come 2-3 weeks later. They say that they "are running about 9-12 business days behind on orders due to the volume of orders that are coming in." Well to my suprise, they were able to ship it to me the day after I ordered! I ordered two AK magazines. The website stated they were behind on orders and it would take 15-17 business days to receive the product. I was OK with this, but I also ordered other AK magazines from other online stores of different color. Same make and model from Tapco. I also order other items not available with Ammunition To Go. In total I ordered from 4 different websites including Ammunition To Go. Ammunition To Go states if it's on their website they have it in stock. The delay is in processing the high volume in orders. The other websites also noted due to high demand, orders could be delayed, but I received everything I ordered in 3 business days from every store except Ammunition To Go. I'm not saying their a bad company, but I was shocked that I received my product from the other 3 companies all on the same day and in 3 business days. I could have ordered the magazines I bought from Ammunition To Go from one of the other online stores, but they were the first I found online and went with it. I was looking for pistol ammunition in a couple of calibers. I scoured the local gunshops and wal-marts. Well, wal-mart did have some inexpensive 9mm ammo but their shelves were bone-dry when it came to .45ACP. The local gunstores had pistol ammo BUT the prices were exorbitant. Then I came across ammunition to go.... I was pleasantly surprised at the wide range of ammo they had in stock. I called them up and the nice lady I spoke to on the phone said, "sure, create an account, add the items you want to your cart and send in the order and we'll take care of you right quick." I did this and guess what? In a couple hours they called me and said, "Hey, we noticed that you live less than an hour away from where we're at. Wanna come by and pick up your ammo order in an hour?" I said "Sure!" She then said, "Ok, if you pay with cash, we'll give you a discount on the ammo." So I said "Yes, please." And just like that, I went over to their warehouse which is along FM50 a couple miles outside of Brenham. The staff was extremely nice and super friendly. My order was ready and waiting to pick up when I got there and they even treated me to a cold bottle of Coca-Cola from Mexico which tasted really good (sweetened with sugarcane). I also added some ammo that wasn't on the order right there and then and they got it from the adjacent warehouse within a couple minutes. The cash discount was actually quite a nice deal and the ammo I got worked out be less than what I would have paid at wal-mart by a noticeable amount. And I got to see their warehouse which is HUGE and chock full stocked with all kinds of cool goodies.... If you live within a couple hours of Brenham, TX I'd highly recommend that you take advantage of the cash discount that they offer and stock up on some ammo from them. Trust me, the drive out to them even when you factor in the cost of gas will get you quality ammo at a bargain price. Stay away from this company. Just purchased 9 ammo cans from Ammunition To Go. They were sold as "new". One of the cans had mud on the inside and outside of the can. All had flaking paint. One ATG customer service person I spoke with suggested that I damage the shipping box to get a refund from UPS. I told him I would do no such thing. Insurance FRAUD much? These cans are FACTORY SECONDS at best. They also feel lighter than my other surplus cans. Maybe they are Chinese knock offs or something. These people are a RIPOFF. Their bulk prices are $50-$65 higher that Walmart. I bought 1000 rounds of 9mm FMJ from them for $209+ taxes. That was their special price dropped down from 239.95. I just saw 1000 rounds of 9mm at Walmat at $139+ taxes. Plus on top of that, shipping was another $16.00. What does that tell you? Every Walmart I have been to, has a full stock of bullets.
