Sold me ammo that under preformed with failure to feed. They claimed 1400fps, I got 800-900fps. I contacted the manufacturer and cc them in the email. They blamed the brand new gen12 shotgun that shots everything else just fine. I even loaded the ammo into a different shotgun and had the same under performances with failure to feed. They kept my money, if your reading this before buying from them. save yourself the headache and buy from someone else. read more

Excellent selection, highly competitive prices and lightning fast shipping. Would highly recommend.

First time ordering from this outfit and had seen a few less than stellar reviews but I know that the majority of people writing reviews have done so due to a poor experience and not a positive one. So here's a positive one! I was in need of a particular type of 9mm which they had in stock. I ordered it on a Tuesday (yesterday) and it arrived today in perfect condition. Double-boxed just as I asked. Would order from them again without hesitation. read more

I saw that the dorks up in sacramento got their stupid prop 63 ammo ban blocked by a judge. so I went to ammo to go -- in good faith I might add -- and tried to place an order. At the very end, during checkout, they have a little message that says "er, ah, we don't ship to california cause well those politicians, they kind of intimidate us and make us tinkle a little every time we ship an order. So we're just going to cower in shame and not ship ammunition there." Thanks for being a good ammo source 10 years ago. Thanks for nothing today. You and the dorks in sacramento can go hold hands for the rest of time. My money is going to the ammo stores who still have some balls. read more

Terrible company to buy ammo from. Accidentally purchased USED Ammo (stipid of me,wasn't paying close attention) unsafe too. Cost more than new AMMO (unused) . they completely ripped me off. When I relaized what was about to happen (mind you 18 hrs after order placed) i asked to cancel order. But No Scott couldn't complete this simple request to gain a loyal long term customer (Not anymore) . I then gave Scott a 2nd option. Cancel order but give me In-Store credit. So to speak. NOPE denied yet again. Then I get a small in the face email from Scott thanking me for purchase and hope everything is going well. What an ass clown. Jerk off. I ordered 1000 rounds of Wolf 9mm ammunition from these people. The box came in in a timely manner but was short 150 rounds. I tried emailing them. Called left a voice mail. No response, none. Recently ordered 6 boxes of 45acp from these guys. It arrived in a box large enough to ship over 1000 rounds. They didn't even try to fill the rest of the box with packing material, just crumbled a few pieces of brown paper into it to fill the air gap (which was 95% of the box). When my package arrived all of my boxes of ammo inside were torn up and there was loose ammo everywhere. Since technically my final product wasn't damaged or unusable, I had just planned to add them to the list of businesses that wouldn't get my money in the future. But then I got a cute email from their sales team asking for my opinion. So I emailed back and explained that i was unhappy and why. The response I got back tried to place the blame on the shipper, apparently they will repack damaged boxes, and explained to me how to identify one of their original shipping boxes. Which was exactly what I had, one of THEIR boxes. When I replied again that i really didn't appreciate that their initial response was to toss the shipping company under the bus, I got another respose from them denying placing the blame on the shipper..... Like I cant remember what you emailed me 20 minutes ago, or just look at an earlier response in the email chain Like I said earlier. I would have just gone about my day, I received my product, technically undamaged. I don't want a refund. But then to solicit my opinion and respond to that in a childish way, trying to shift the blame. Yeah, you have not only lost my business, but NOW you have made me WANT to actively warn others about you. Great job guys! read more

AMMO TO GO sent me some old , tarnished , mottled .38 ammo--two boxes of it and only charged me $68.00 ! AMMO TO GO customer service asked for multiple pictures of the putrefied ammo and all associated factory wrappings as well as the AMMO TO GO wrappings. These pictures I sent to AMMO TO GO and that was the very last response I received from them. The glowing references toward AMMO TO GO in this review section may be somewhat founded but I found AMMO TO GO to be difficult , at best , when I asked them for a refund ! There response to all my e-mails were simple; ---- NONE ! Anyone that has a favorable relationship with AMMO TO GO---please refer them to this (my review) of their business ethics ! It may still be remotely possible that AMMO TO GO is hiding their "good" intentions rather well............................... !!!!!! read more

Wal-mart's shelves are bone dry and I just bought myself an SKS. Mega fail...until I discovered ammunition to go. Once I ordered my ammo I expected it to come 2-3 weeks later. They say that they "are running about 9-12 business days behind on orders due to the volume of orders that are coming in." Well to my suprise, they were able to ship it to me the day after I ordered! It arrived at my house one week later! For some reason my UPS man never leaves me an info notice and I never hear the door bell ring. He must be a ninja. Another nice thing about ammunition to go is that they keep their site up to date. It's simple...if you see it on their site that means they have it in stock. thank goodness I got their last batch of 7.62x39's because a few days later when I checked for my product they took it off their site. Don't be afraid to order from ammunition to go this is a great company. read more

BEWARE!! My friend and I used to both order ammo from this site. Both our credit cards were stolen and used to purchase over 10k$ in stuff. Watch your credit card statement!! I called discover card and indeed there were thousands of dollars of charges on my card. Just a heads up, beware! read more

This is my go-to place for ammo. Their selection and prices are much better than any gun store, Wal-Mart, gun show, you name it. I've placed three orders and all three have shipped the same day. I live near Houston and their close proximity (~70 miles) means I usually get my ammo the next day. I even got a shipment on a Saturday! To take advantage of their low prices, order as much ammo as will fit in one shipment. Their shipping rates seem to be mostly based on the number of shipments. If they don't have what you're looking for, it's probably a popular item and they've run out. Check back every few days because they'll likely have it in stock again. And like other reviews stated, they only list what they have in stock. So give them a call (they answer the phone) and ask if they plan on carrying what you're looking for. read more

ATG is my new favorite place to get ammo. Short story: Ordered on Tuesday night. Received package at my door Thursday at noon. Packaged nicely and everything in good condition. On top of that, they have a great selection of budget and premium ammo. These folks put amazon to shame. Protip: shipping does not scale linearly. Up to a certain quantity, each additional box of ammo will add a few cents to the total shipping cost. At the breakpoint, one extra box will add $8 to the shipping cost. Keep an eye on it! read more

I'll never buy from them again. I realize they are not the manufacturer but I did spend my money with them initially. I bought some faulty ammo and got the run around with return/refund/credit. living a good clean life is, well, good. living to better yourself and help others while your at it, you really cant ask for more from life than to be able to both of those well. i can really appreciate the satisfaction of reaching small goals you set out for yourself. and then sometimes, you just want to blow shit up. i try to purchase my firearms from local dealers here in the bay area. we all know exactly how antigun this little area of california is. we all know how antigun california is. by purchasing your firearms from your local dealer you are helping law abiding citizen protect the right to protect themselves and maintain a hobby they enjoy. you are making it known with your purchasing power that as a tax paying and voting san franciscan/californian, you support the right to arm yourself and for people to enjoy their hobby. its quite interesting how the biggest antigun advocate in the senate, from san francisco, is one of the only persons to have a conceal firearm permit in san francisco county.... you know, because her job is dangerous and her life is worth protecting, but ours arent. you know, because someone tried to shoot her once, however, because of legislation she helped pass and continues to campaign for, joe blow liquor store owner that HAS been shot numerous times and tries to apply for one is denied. anyways. when you are looking for bulk QUALITY ammo, ammunition to go is a great place to start. need 500 rounds of federal low recoil 12 gauge 00 buck? no problem. need 1,000 rounds of .45 acp federal hst? no problem. they also have fun stuff if you dont live the peoples republic of california, some tracers, incendiary, less than lethals. surprisingly, or not so if you know california, even with shipping, ive found it cheaper to buy ammo from here. im sure if you look around at some big box store sale prices, you can similar prices, but why would i? ammunition to go ships it right to my office. and i dont have to support walmart? awesome. read more

I ordered two Tapco magazines from Ammunition To Go. Keep in mind that this is a time when alot of stores are out of stock on many products to due to the potential gun ban. I ordered two AK magazines. The website stated they were behind on orders and it would take 15-17 business days to receive the product. I was OK with this, but I also ordered other AK magazines from other online stores of different color. Same make and model from Tapco. I also order other items not available with Ammunition To Go. In total I ordered from 4 different websites including Ammunition To Go. Ammunition To Go states if it's on their website they have it in stock. The delay is in processing the high volume in orders. The other websites also noted due to high demand, orders could be delayed, but I received everything I ordered in 3 business days from every store except Ammunition To Go. I'm not saying their a bad company, but I was shocked that I received my product from the other 3 companies all on the same day and in 3 business days. I could have ordered the magazines I bought from Ammunition To Go from one of the other online stores, but they were the first I found online and went with it. I would have bought these mags with the other stores had I known Ammunition To Go is really slow at sending orders out. I know, It states on their website it could take 15-17 business days. I knew what I was getting in to, but I'm gonna stay away from them for now because other online stores can get product out faster. They get an A+ for honesty, but a D for fast service. These stores get an A+ for fast service and easy tracking. Keepshooting.com CDNN Sports The See Group Police Supply Don read more

I see others have also had their credit card info stolen when ordering from their online site. About a month ago my credit card info was stolen within an hour of ordering on their website. The charges just kept coming on my card one right after another until I finally got the card cancelled!! My bank informed me that it resulted from placing the order on their website as they investigated it. I informed AmmunitionToGo via email about this and they said that they are completely safe and protected by McAffee and whatever. Obviously they are NOT safe to order from. ITS A SHAME really, because before my credit card info was stolen or hacked while using their website, they were the BEST ONLINE merchant I had EVER, EVER used. I hope that they secure their website because their service and shipping was SUPER FAST. AmmunitionToGo, PLEASE READ THIS AND SECURE YOUR ONLINE ORDERING PAGE, PLEASE!! Well after purchasing a handgun the ammo became my next to do item. I discovered this place through their website and learned that their location was within driving distance. I called for their hours and made the trip out to see their store. In the main office I was greeted by their staff which comprised of 4 female sales representative-phone sales. I began my questioning and was impressed with their knowledge of their products. The staff was also very friendly. They helped guide me to my purchase decision and even went into the warehouse to retrieve my purchase. The price for my purchase was quite lower than any other places I have, or would have, visted After my experience I will, and have, referred others to them On a plus side, they have a firearms store loctated on the same property that has great staff and even better firearms, ammo, accessories, and more. I was looking for pistol ammunition in a couple of calibers. I scoured the local gunshops and wal-marts. Well, wal-mart did have some inexpensive 9mm ammo but their shelves were bone-dry when it came to .45ACP. The local gunstores had pistol ammo BUT the prices were exorbitant. Then I came across ammunition to go.... I was pleasantly surprised at the wide range of ammo they had in stock. I called them up and the nice lady I spoke to on the phone said, "sure, create an account, add the items you want to your cart and send in the order and we'll take care of you right quick." I did this and guess what? In a couple hours they called me and said, "Hey, we noticed that you live less than an hour away from where we're at. Wanna come by and pick up your ammo order in an hour?" I said "Sure!" She then said, "Ok, if you pay with cash, we'll give you a discount on the ammo." So I said "Yes, please." And just like that, I went over to their warehouse which is along FM50 a couple miles outside of Brenham. The staff was extremely nice and super friendly. My order was ready and waiting to pick up when I got there and they even treated me to a cold bottle of Coca-Cola from Mexico which tasted really good (sweetened with sugarcane). I also added some ammo that wasn't on the order right there and then and they got it from the adjacent warehouse within a couple minutes. The cash discount was actually quite a nice deal and the ammo I got worked out be less than what I would have paid at wal-mart by a noticeable amount. And I got to see their warehouse which is HUGE and chock full stocked with all kinds of cool goodies.... If you live within a couple hours of Brenham, TX I'd highly recommend that you take advantage of the cash discount that they offer and stock up on some ammo from them. Trust me, the drive out to them even when you factor in the cost of gas will get you quality ammo at a bargain price. Here's a last tip - be real nice to the ladies at the office and they'll treat you an ice cold bottle of delicious Coca-Cola from Mexico. read more

Stay away from this company. Just purchased 9 ammo cans from Ammunition To Go. They were sold as "new". One of the cans had mud on the inside and outside of the can. All had flaking paint. One ATG customer service person I spoke with suggested that I damage the shipping box to get a refund from UPS. I told him I would do no such thing. Insurance FRAUD much? These cans are FACTORY SECONDS at best. They also feel lighter than my other surplus cans. Maybe they are Chinese knock offs or something. So now I'm out shipping both ways and have 'store credit' because ATG will not stand behind their product. I don't need store credit I need nine 50 cal ammo cans. Now I have to waste $125.55 + tax buying something I neither want nor need from this company. Spend your money with a reputable company. read more

These people are a RIPOFF. Their bulk prices are $50-$65 higher that Walmart. I bought 1000 rounds of 9mm FMJ from them for $209+ taxes. That was their special price dropped down from 239.95. I just saw 1000 rounds of 9mm at Walmat at $139+ taxes. Plus on top of that, shipping was another $16.00. What does that tell you? Every Walmart I have been to, has a full stock of bullets. ATG return policy is crazy. We are in a time of saving money. Companies like this one take advantage of that. They mark up the prices when they know that ammo is in demand. Poor ethics. Stay away. read more
