I have reason to believe Eco Clean Window Washing caused damage to my home that was almost equal to the cost of their service. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to resolve this issue with the owner, Derek, which he deflected and ignored, I now feel compelled to share my experience. Eco Clean Window Washing failed me on the following: 1) Failed to work with me to achieve a resolution to damages. I would not be writing this if Derek had responded back to my concerns and made a good faith attempt to make things right. Instead, he ignored several of my messages, responded once claiming he did not cause any damage, and ignored my follow on message after I received a $275 repair quote that I asked him to discuss with me. I would not be writing this review if not for this. 2) I believe Eco Clean Window Washing blew the seals on the siding of my house, causing siding on my roof frame to be ripped off in a thunderstorm hours after they left (pictures attached) The quote (attached) specifically stated Derek and his crew would use low pressure to NOT blow seals. This cost me $275 to repair. 3) I believe they dented my gutters (picture attached). I was willing to ignore this initially because I understand minor damage happens, but after seeing Derek's lack of professionalism and unwillingness to resolve this issue with me directly, I feel obligated to share my story so others can be made aware. 3) Ripped up my front door mat after spraying it down, not at my request. (picture attached). Same as above. I would've ignored this if not for his lack of professionalism. 4) Showed up almost 4 hours late to the job. Derek told me he would arrive at 2pm. Derek and his crew showed up around 6pm and instead of calling or knocking on my door to notify me that they were here to begin the job, they just started. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt and affording them the opportunity to straighten things out. I even told Derek I didn't expect him to cover the full cost of the repairs because there was a storm that came through. I would've been content and not posted this if he'd made a good faith gesture to resolve the issue. His complete lack of professionalism and follow through has compelled me to share this. There are too many pressure washing companies in this area for someone to perform this poorly. We all deserve better than this.

As a homeowner, there are always many tasks that need to be taken care of. But because I am no…read morelonger young enough to do many of them myself, I just kept adding the tasks to my "to do" list. When the list had several tasks, some of importance, some not so much, I decided to hire a handyman. I submitted the job to Yelp, and very quickly I received several responses. One response was from C & M Home Improvement. We very quickly arranged a visit, and I went over all the tasks with Mark while he took notes. Mark gave me an individual quote for my most important task that was more than fair and I immediately accepted. He literally took care of that task, and a couple of others that very day! I was surprised and very pleased with both the timing and the job that he did. These tasks included, 1) repairing a crack in the plastic roof on my back porch, 2) my drive-through gate would not stay closed, and 3) my gutter downspouts were loose or detached. These are the three tasks that Mark completed that very day. Subsequently, Mark sent me an individual quote for each of the remaining tasks from my list. All were very reasonable, and I agreed. Times were set up for these tasks and they were all completely quick and well. These remaining tasks included 1) cleaning out the attached shed, 2) cleaning and organizing the unattached shed, 3) power washing the patio, 4) installing a chimney cap to prevent squirrels from falling down chimney, 5) staining/sealing the full front porch, and 6) painting the wooden porch railings. For tasks 5 and 6, Mark power washed before applying the sealant and the paint). Mark also suggested that the house be power washed, and the gutters cleaned out. He quoted a price, again very reasonable, and I agreed. I am very satisfied with the work Mark performed and the timeliness. I am thrilled that all the tasks on my list were completed. I particularly liked the reasonable pricing...being on a fixed income in a difficult economy. Each task was completed as I described on that first day, without any further direction needed and without my presence required. Mark is personable, efficient, hard-working, and reliable. I will happily hire Mark again and highly recommend C & M Home Improvement.
