The best. Explains everything. Makes necessary referrals. Doesn't get better. No wait time.

I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Baek at a time that met with my schedule. I was called to the exam room a few minutes before my appointment time and waited just a few minutes. Dr. Baek was very nice and knowledgeable and took time to explain his decisions and answer my questions and concerns. The office is located next to the Comfort Inn near Frederick Ave and Shady Grove Rd. When exiting Rte 370 to 355 South, stay in the middle lane to cross Shady Grove Rd. A few streets later, you will turn left and come to the free parking lot for the office building.

Dr. Asilli is a compassionate and outstanding podiatrist but the doctors/administrators who seem to run his office now are not. I saw wonderful Dr. Asilli for decades and most recently he refurbished my orthotics -- for which I was required to pay up front. Two and a half years later I still receive a bill for the full amount I paid from another doctor in his practice. Whenever I call, the receptionist acknowledges the mixup, politely promises to straighten it out with the billing office and call me back but I never hear from her. The billing office never answers when I try to follow up. My husband, also treated about two years ago by a different doctor, is in a similar endless loop. He had what turned out to be athlete's foot. Regretably, I talked him into seeing Dr. Mizuo, assuring him if he worked with Dr. Asilli he must be good. Dr. Mizuo put him on heavy antibiotics with uncomfortable side effects. They didn't work and he gave him another prescription that turned out to be over-the-counter cream.

This is the worst office personnel I had to deal with!! Dr. Sherman is an excellent professional,…read morebut he's surrounded by incompetent, rude, unsympathetic office's front desk person! Back in November 25, my friend who's a handicap, was seen by Doc.Sherman for an infected toe nail. He chose to get it removed and an appointment was made for June. The front desk person first said he needed a referral from his Primary, that's what was pending, then she gave me a bill, which they to submitted to Medicare, when his primary insurance is Medicare Advantage. I'm 100% sure, his new insurance card info was handed over by me to their billing receptionist but was never put it in their system. If anyone decides to choose this Doctor based on his good credentials, make sure that you really check if your insurance info is correctly registered!

The footie socks didn't fit and my insurance was charged for an ankle device that I never received. He stated he couldn't work on my calloused feet because the callous was too think. He gave me some cream to soften it. I will never return. I have moved on to Metropolitan Podiatry Associates and Dr. Kevin Jefferson, The DC Foot Doctor. On the first visit, I received a foot bath. I was talked to with respect. My callouses were addressed immediately. Samples were taken of my toenails. This was all done on the first visit--no discussion of money. I felt like all Dr. Sherman was worried about was what he could sell me.

Oh man I really hate to leave a less than stellar review for these great docs. I read the other bad…read morereviews and I never had any issues with payment processing here. My first experience here was 4-5 years ago with Dr. Weber and Dr. Tabor and they were nothing short of awesome. I had to have surgery, which I'd wanted for some time but other doctors kept insisting I try other ineffective non-invasive methods first. I came here and Dr. Weber immediately agreed the issue needed to be resolved and they wasted no time fixing both my feet. Both doctors were no-nonsense and I got a healthy dose of some very hilarious dry humor as well. It was the best surgery experience and follow-ups I think I'll ever have. Because of this experience, these were the doctors i pointed my new husband to when he wanted to address an issue he is having. This is why my recent experience was so disappointing! I was so looking forward to seeing doctor Tabor again for an excruciating issue I'm having with my Achilles. I called in the morning, and was happy to get an appointment for the following morning. I was told to come early to fill out forms - not a problem. Then I got a call after 6PM from someone else as I was getting ready to leave the house for a date with my husband. The lady told me that my appointment wasn't available and never really was available. Upon further discussion she said that, since I am a new patient (my last visit was too long ago), the time it would take to fill out the new patient forms would be too much. I asked if the forms are available online - they aren't. She offered to allow me to come pick up the forms if I were to arrive within 15 minutes (6:30PM)... clearly she was trying to accommodate me in some way - but then why couldn't I just come in early for my appointment as the first person said I needed to do? I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes, or what kinds of stressors may have been at play here. I also know that dealing with the general public can really be taxing on one's soul... but the whole thing just seemed unnecessary. It's not a crime for a doctors office to have to reschedule and I'm really not sure how that could be communicated to a patient without it coming across badly... but... it came across badly. So, as I'm in a lot of pain, unfortunately went with another podiatrist.

The only issue I have is one that's easily fixed by stating it here. The office is accessible from…read morebehind the building not inside the building. That confusion aside, I had a great experience. It was easy to make an appointment and I was seen relatively quickly. Which has been difficult in MD with specialists. The wait time wasn't bad and I felt like I was able to spend a lot of time with Dr.Tabor as he explained the mechanics of my foot and the issue I was going through.
