Aside from occasionally driving through the car wash and throwing my trash out at gas stations, I am not a guy who takes care of his car. So last year, I decided that my birthday gift to myself would be to have my car fully detailed by High Buff. I did my research--and heard great things from family and friends--and was guardedly optimistic that the work would justify the investment. Oh mama! I was SHOCKED when I picked up my car! EVERY detail was meticulously addressed. I am not an easy guy to please, but there was nothing that was not attended to with integrity and excellence. To be clear, even when I've tried, I've never been able to get my car this clean. This was the kind of clean that reflects focused professionalism. I drove away feeling like I was in a new car--and being reminded that I really like my car; I just didn't like the smudges and smears and stains and mess that had become part of my daily driving experience. Others whom I called to look inside the car agreed that this was AMAZING work. Candidly, I felt foolish for having waited so long to give my Subaru this make-over treatment--and to give myself this treat. Last week, I celebrated my birthday with the same gift to myself. I found the guys at High Buff, again, to be personable, professional, and enthusiastic about taking good care of my car. So Happy Birthday to me! And see you again next year! (Thanks, gents!)

Not wanting to spend an arm and leg at the dealer, I took my car to Midas and Tire town. What a waste of time, none of them could tell me what was wrong. I then found Derek and took it to him, and within 5 minutes of inspecting underneath the car, he found the source - a control arm bushing. It lists their hours 9-6 but no one is there until at least 10:30. They are very unprofessional as when I went to pick up my car the last time, I met the 4th or 5th owner and he had me parked outside in the dark, in a tree.
