From the first moment I met them for a consultation to the last moment when the lights came on after our last dance at the wedding they were there every step of the way. My husband and I live in Long Beach Ca. and having our wedding in Grass Valley turned out to be a daunting task to execute. So we decided to hire a day of coordinator. We chose Dyane and Jeff for their expertise and experience. Not to mention we clicked right away and I felt completely comfortable in their presence. The overwhelming task of planning a wedding from a fare lessened once my husband and I chose Dyane and Jeff. Let me just say that they go above and beyond what a day of event planner typically handles. They contacted all of our vendors for us multiple times leading up to the wedding insuring everyone was on the same page. They have worked many weddings at the Mines so they are familiar with the rules and regulations that come with having a wedding in a State Park. I brought a lot of DIY stuff and only having 2 hours to set up was daunting task but they handled it to a T. This was because there were multiple e mails and phone calls leading up to the big day. Once again going above and beyond for being a day of event planner! Dyane and Jeff accompanied me on the 30 day walk threw with the park rangers and Dyane was not afraid to be assertive on my behalf with the vision I had for guest once entering the park. Normally the park rangers have the guests enter at a certain location but my vision was to have them enter threw the gardens to get the full experience the park has to offer. One of the Rangers was hesitant to this idea because it had never been done before. Dyane knew this was important to me and was vocal with the ranger and made it happen. Another "issue" was that we had lawn games at the wedding and wanted a place for guest to be able to put their drink and tray passed hourderves while they played their games. The Rangers did not want cocktail tables on the lawn game area which would have made the games difficult to play. Once again they made multiple phone calls to the Rangers on our behalf and needless to say we had cocktail tables on the lawn game area! All of our friends and family said it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to. The venue it self is a great backdrop for an enchanting wedding but the flow and vision of the wedding executed with experts like Dyane and Jeff left it as a magical evening everyone will remember! They kept the night flowing with the behind the scenes details all the while trending to my husband and I to make sure we were taken care of and happy. I can't say thanks enough to these two amazing human beings! They definitely have a great thing going! If you want a stress free magical event where you, friends, and family don't have to lift a finger and just enjoy what should be the best day of your life......... She immediately suggested a table that still had openings. Throughout the evening she came by to check how we were doing. She'd remove things from the table (saving us from getting up and tossing them) and provided immediately help when my spouse accidentally spilled a glass of water that drenched the table, the floor near me, my purse. I didn't even have to signal her to approach. She was tuned in to us and I'm certain everyone else. So warm and friendly (like the friendliest one there that evening!). We asked for her business card --Emerald Event Productions---because we were so impressed by her attitude and skills. She said she'd frequently had been asked to provide her services at the same location. Based on our experience and what we saw, she'd be excellent to assist at any special event.

She seemed very professional, friendly, and helpful that's why me and my now husband decided to hire her...BIG MISTAKE AND BIG WASTE OF MONEY! She charged us $1000 to coordinate our wedding the "Day Of" (Note- the contract states that the "Day Of package" starts 8-6 weeks before the wedding)...Well, our wedding was 3 weeks away and I had to contact her to remind her about my wedding! Once I did that, we set up an appointment to discuss wedding details. Now, the day of the appointment she was few minutes late (which I hated because I had my 3 month old baby with me and I was on a schedule to feed him). Plus, I just hated the fact that she was late! In my opinion wedding coordinators are like real estate agents, they need to arrive before the client does! At the end of the appointment she told me that "everything was on her hands now and that everything would be less stressful for me." Well, complete lies! Vendors were still contacting me and I still had to deal with a lot of stuff. When I asked her if she had contacted all the vendors, she told me she was "too busy" and that she "would do it soon." I mean, my wedding was around the corner and she was "too busy" to do the things I hired for! The day of the rehearsal we were supposed to meet 30 mins before anyone would get there to discuss about the decorations she was going to set up. Well, once again she was LATE! She got there when everyone else did, so we couldn't talk freely. Also, that day she brought her assistant because she had other "things to do," and her assistant took over our rehearsal. I paid her to be there, and she only showed up for 10 mins! The day of the wedding she was there, but from what I heard and saw she did very little. I actually think the venue coordinator did more for us (bringing us food and drinks, making sure we were comfortable, etc) than Grace. Not to mention that my husband told me that at the end of the event, him and his best man (wearing their tuxedos) were cleaning the venue and bridal room because she wasn't doing it! Something we paid for! To end this review, Grace completely disappointed me and my husband. We were not happy with her business and we felt like it was a waste of money. The funny part is that if you go to her instagram page @gracefulgatherings she reposted our wedding video making it seem like she did a great job, when in fact she was the worst vendor we had. So I'm hoping she removes our video from her page because we do not recommend her at all!

"Just Wing It!" We…read morehad a change of heart a day before our wedding. We're supposed to get wed at City Hall of SF with our 30 closest friends and family. But unfortunately City Hall will not allow us to have more than 6 witnesses to witness our wedding.. So the day before our wedding on July 18th we decided to just WING IT and get married in the park and hire an officiant so our Family and Friends can be part of our special day. We went and searched Yelp and found Amber! We told her that we need an officiant the next day and told her the story of our last minute change of heart. Even she was surprised! We asked if she knows a place in San Francisco where we can get married and she suggested an amazing Garden in San Francisco. Everything fell into place from there! We hired Amber to officiate our wedding and thank God she was available with the last minute notice!!! And even though we never met her not once and just communicated thru e-mail she performed a lovely ceremony that we will cherish always and never be forgotten!
