I remember bringing my son to their story time, as a little boy- now he's 20, so he's out grown it, but I'm glad post pandemic, this event is still happening! I loved finding all the various authors and craft books and "how to" sets! They even had some science sets! The only drawback, I'd say was how the outside trash can was overflowing and there were flies all over. So I didn't walk by it. I'm sure that's going to attract the wrong type of attention, so that's the only reason why I'm giving them a 4 instead of 5 stars. However, everything within the book store was clean and organized. So I appreciated that. I'll be back, I'll just park away from the public trash can hee.

I stopped by to look for music CD and manga. The store has a dedicated section for movies, music and games in the front of the store. It's a huge size bookstore spreading different sections of categories, magazines, and a kids area. There is a coffee station in the center and tables where you can read and work as it's pretty quiet inside. The manga section is big and the magazines as well. There were quite a bit of KPop magazines amongst others. You'll find quite a few things you didn't think of when you come across cute and unique accessories. If you want to get out of the outside and enjoy a quiet atmosphere, it's Barnes & Noble.

The lady over the phone seemed very patient & nice, at first I was like of course they want us to place an ad but once we visited the office I realized I was wrong. They went through the prices & different options with us, very sincere and got to the point. I like that they are not rude or pushy like other magazines. Even the owners seemed very humble & nice, that's a first since a lot of business owners especially from a popular magazine are not really that laid back. I felt comfortable & confident that my Auntie was going to place her ad in the magazine. After getting the magazine her ad looked great! Definitely doing business with them again.

He ended up having to call someone on the phone located at the desk in order to offer a resolution... that person told him they wouldn't be able to help for another ten minutes.... at that point I simply offered to take another bottle of water. The worst part about this whole transaction... I had asked him just before he scanned my card if the water bottle was truly over $7 to which he responded "yep, sure is".

It's a waste of resources for them (and the planet) and a waste of time for me since I must dispose of it. Worse, they block the sidewalk in front of my (corner) house by dropping a stack of papers on the corner to use as a staging area (I'm not sure what else to call it) for deliveries. School kids use that sidewalk to walk to school and there are many cars on the roadway. It's wrong to block the sidewalk and make the kids walk in the street. I wish the students would go ahead and walk on my front garden area (not really a lawn), but they (unlike the Milpitas Post) respect people's property and do not do so.
