The next day I called as something was still leaking and he found a crack in the toilet as well as the bowl - Al had dust and signs of having been there. I bought a toilet to try & defray the costs but the two appointments cost over $800! the plumber had a fairly bad attitude and sent me some nasty texts - insinuating I had cracked the toilet the night he was first there. I would not use them and do not recommend them. Cost was same as was quoted when the plumber got the toilet - outrageous pricing and bad attitude.

Being concerned about the expensive local plumber I have used in the past I went on the web! Not being comfortable with the label "PIPE DREAMS" I bit the bullet as he was very local and had a high "yelp" rating so I gave him a call the next business day about 9 am and left a message. He called me back about 10am from out of town but requested if he could stop by about "noon' time: and HE DID 1pm! He took one look and started taking his first of many trips to his truck and came back with a ladder and camera and found a leak at the 3 clock side of the connection. It was a very difficult repair. The steel ring holding the toilet was totally rusted out. But he had the tools in the truck . He not only had the tools in the truck he had all the parts to return the entire toilet to NEW CONDITION and rolled out at 2:45pm and I had a new toilet for HALF THE COST ANTICIPATED . I WAS STUNED. as a register professional engineer he exceeded my highest expectations . He knew what to do, how to do it, prepared to do it, and pleasant and friendly doing it. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIPE DREAMER

Why is there no zero option?…read more We bought a condo in August 2025. Everything about the condo in Newmarket has been amazing except that it is serviced by Superior Plus Propane (which took over for Rymes). Here's an abbreviated timeline: Summer 2025 -Requested cleaning and servicing of our Rinnai hot water heater and monitor heater, plus a new account set up. -New account couldn't be utilized until a safety inspection was conducted. -Had to harass them several times to get on the books. Done. -Safety inspection found that one pipe was corroded slightly, so I booked the fix and asked that they do the routine cleanings at the same time. -Tech comes out, fixes pipe, and tells me they never booked time for the cleanings. -Called customer service, they said the tech didn't read the notes (the techs have said the office has no clue ever and that the mergers were a mess--I have met many techs). -They decide to send out a new tech to clean for free (ok, fine, decent action). -A while later they come out and clean the Rinnais and state that the flame rods should be fixed. I call and order the parts and they are backordered. Annoying, but understandable. Quite a while later they finally come in, send a tech out after lots of calls. -They attempt to install the rods and find they are on too tight. Need a sparkle wire. Needs to be ordered. To date, we still haven't heard back about the sparkle wire or flame rod installation (I have a box of flame rods they left in my basement). The next few months after being told by at least 10 reps that they bill monthly: -Not billed until DECEMBER after calling at least monthly asking for billing/meter read. -They read it several times before it turned into a real bill. I watched them do it, as I work remotely. Still, bill was not created until December. Dec 2025: -I have a bill. Yay! -I pay the bill. -I am assured again that the bills will start being more regular now and that usually, billing is monthly. In between: -I call at least monthly, sometimes weekly. Guess who still doesn't have a bill or any decent guidance as to when I will receive one. 3/20/26: -I reach out to Samantha Hebert as she has at least responded before. This is when I learn she has quit. -Someone named Rachel Bitomske gets back to me and says "I can get that meter read." Later in March 2026: -I keep expecting a bill -I am told the meter was read on 3/30/2026 -The meter apparently gets read THREE TIMES, still, no bill -I have HAD IT, so I begin calling them regularly asking why the readings aren't turning into bills. April 2026 -One guy swears he will deal with the situation and make it his personal priority to call me within two hours. He doesn't. -FINALLY, at the end of April, I meet Casey. She is able to see that each of the 3 meter readings has come back at 0. Casey follows up with me on 4/24/2026 saying that this needs to be escalated and that service needs to get involved. She lets me know they will come out the following Tuesday to check the meter and to call her back on Wednesday. -I call back Wednesday. Meter is broken. -I ask for details about what's going to happen as I need to know my usage, and when I can expect a repair/bill. She doesn't know. -I talk with another person named Selene during this time, too, who tried to escalate my claim to Kelly (I think?) 4/30/26 -I call back as they called my husband instead of me. Kelly is not available, but wants to schedule the repair for May 5. We schedule it. -I agree to this, but still am not able to get details out of this new girl about how the process is going to go, or the timeline. She says she will get the District Manager and Kelly to call me back. -She doesn't call me despite me telling them point-blank I've had enough of being given the runaround. -I call in again and am told this is being brought to the attention of Betsy. The rep promises me that she has taken notes on my concerns and messaged her. She hopes that she will call me, given what has happened. It is not 8:10 PM. No call. No email. Nothing. This is INSANE!

    Extreme Excavation

BEWARE!!!!! Calvin…read moreDunn, the owner of Extreme Excavation was doing excavation work in the 'over 55 community that I live in in New Hampton, New Hampshire'. He covered our entire yard with loom. However, there was a medium sized squared off area in the back of our yard that was not covered with the loom. My husband and I couldn't figure out why he would have left that area without loom because all the heaps of loom looked all spread. I wasn't sure if he left it uncovered because we are having a shed delivered in that area. So, I took a walk up the hill to where he was standing next to his crane and said "excuse me can I ask you a question". He turned around and abruptly said what! He proceeded to yell at me that he wasn't finished and yelled other things that I couldn't make out and I said "I was just curious why you left a corner of our yard without loom." He went off on me about how people are always asking him questions and that I was wasting his time and he could have had it all done by now, but instead he was answering my questions. He was 2 houses away from mine, he would have to be awfully fast. He was so mean. As he turned and walked away from me, while I was talking, I said you don't have to be so mean and he turned around and told me to f'n go to my f'n house and watch cartoons and learn something from them. As far as I am concerned that was the rudest interaction I ever had with an owner of a company. That does not look good for his company and most of all it wasn't called for. I was not out of line. This happened in front of my neighbors. One of them asked me what happened and as I was telling him, out of nowhere Calvin came driving, in the crane, at full speed toward me and my 4-pound Chihuahua and my neighbor pulled me toward him to get me out of the way of Calvin. I hurried and grabbed my dog and my neighbor pulled me back further because Calvin was NOT slowing down. If I stayed where I was (which was off to the side of the road talking to my neighbor at his house), Calvin would have run over my dog and hit me as well. Both my neighbor and I was shocked. Remember Calvin Dunn of Extreme Excavation is very dangerous! Again, he is the owner of the company, Extreme Excavation and his attitude is not what you would expect. A SUGGESTION: DO NOT HIRE HIM!!! He is extremely mean and dangerous. There was no reason for Calvin to speak to a resident (me) like that AND put mine and my dog's life in danger. It wasn't called for. The owner of the community hired him. I can't get over the rude and crass way he spoke to me. I didn't yell at him or talk mean. I just asked a simple question to be sure he didn't do that due to the shed coming. I would think twice before hiring Calvin Dunn with Extreme Excavation. He could be nice one minute then volatile the next minute. I seriously thought he was having a nervous breakdown.

I felt valued for such a simple request to remove a shorter toilet installed in my home that was built in 2004 for a comfort height. Their schedule was open & flexible. They DID NOT charge a fee for a site evaluation. They gave a quote over the phone. I now have an attractive, water efficient American Standard, comfort height toilet. The associates removed & hauled away the old one. Their quote was so competitive. Part of me during a stressful time in my life thought "Hey, they value me as a customer & they made it happen." I was not onsite for the work, but my husband was so impressed that he called me to share his feedback & asked that I share a 5 star review. The other nicest things were that Matt & Nick were so kind to our 2 cats & also complimented our home. That's above & beyond. On a Friday evening, we were their last stop & they didn't complain. I think highly about this. Please, fellow customers, call or write on their website for the process. I spoke with Keith & he was in touch with me more than I expected for a plumbing company.
