Everything needs massive attention. This place is the worst I have ever seen. No communication, changes your appointments without telling you and has no local way to contact. Avoid them at all costs! read more

Poor service. I had to call and was 64 in the cue! Really!! Had to leave a request for call back several days ahead! Tried again, different location! Same! They use a centralized phone system, you can not talk to anyone local! Horrible service! read more

Horrible, horrible company since they centralized customer service--meaning it is now doesn't exist. Cracked our driveway by carelessly driving off the driveway and will not take any responsibility whatsoever. Avoid this company at all costs. Checkout the Amerigas Facebook groups for all you need to know. read more

Experience with Amerigas wasnt exactly what we thought it would be, initially reccomended by our chimney repair service, called and was told they would take our information and would be called back by a representative to set up a date; two weeks past and then three weeks past and no call, i called back, told the only technician they had was on vacation and is a part time employee so it may be a bit ( Im easy and not in a rush), this was ok and my take another week, received a call and told they had to reschedule my install of a propane tank because they had a bigger job to do and it took presedence over our 10 minute install of an upright tank. Again, waited another week and they finally showed up, took 10 minutes to install and had to wait almost 2 months from initial contact! I believe they either need to hire more technicians or keep them FT and not PT or they value bigger business over the smaller ones, i understand business is $$ but its not rocket science when making a schedule! read more

Do not use U-Haul Moving & Storage of Dothan for gooseneck hitch installation…read more I was quoted $300 labor via email for a gooseneck hitch install. After they started the job, they received the wrong part and had to keep my truck an extra day. Once the correct part arrived, they claimed the install took longer than expected and added another $200 in labor charges without ever notifying me by phone or email beforehand. They simply added it to the bill. The workmanship was also questionable. I was told they needed to add an exhaust extension because of heat from the exhaust pipe. My tailpipe now hangs about 6 inches off the ground. When I complained, they claimed it was "installed to spec." To make matters worse, when I picked up my truck it was left unlocked, my entire backseat had clearly been gone through, and both seats were leaning forward like someone had searched through the vehicle. They would not even address the unlocked vehicle or the condition it was left in. I spoke with the installer, Jesse, who refused to correct anything. I then spoke with the manager, Joni, who told me it is "common practice" to add charges if a job takes longer than quoted. Very disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of work.

Would not let us have the trailer, after all required information was provided on U-Haul.com and over the phone, vehicle type to be towed and towing vehicle was accepted. PLEASE GO Somewhere else!! We did, and have had exceptional service ever since!
