Not worthy of one one star. I went during my childhood and never had an issue. I recommended the place to my mom and they told her she had 20 cavities. She had 6 filled in during one visit and developed severe long-lasting nerve pain in her left molars. She decided to visit Family Healthcare Network and they told her she only had 1 cavity! Additionally, the fillings on her molar were hitting a nerve and she's considering removing the whole molar. It's painful to see my mom in pain. We caution people from going to this place. read more

Horrible horrible horrible!! Do not go here, they just canceled my appointment 10 min before it was scheduled for, the lady taking the X-rays claimed my kids didn't have any fillings even though I sat there and watched them at smile dental a week ago and she was diagnosing my kids and I as if she were the dentist!! The place is filthy and I guess the reception having a big fat hickie on her neck should have given me an idea I should have turned around and left as soon as I saw her. Against my best judgement I set up an appointment because my daughter is in so much pain and I drove by and saw this place but now I am regretting it. I do not recommend this place! Stay away! I will be filling a formal complaint with medical as well as far as some Shay things I saw while there, a broken part of a needle on the floor being one of them. Do not come to this place. Playing inappropriate music in lobby and very dirty. Dentist was bragging about not having Covid after being around a sister with Covid and then proceeded to cough and spit in parking lot dozens of loogeys and a hard wet sick sounding Covid cough. Dentist did not explain aftercare for dental work and also did not prescribe proper medication. Stay away! read more

I recently had my upper and lower teeth extracted, which, was a very difficult decision for me to make. I am 72 years old and wanted to have my teeth forever. That just was not possible, so I went to see Dr Torabi at Americare in Tulare. He discussed implants and gave me the benefits of having implants rather than just having dentures. I didn't understand it completely, but, Dr. Torabi and his staff were kind and patient with me and I did agree to having 4 implants on the bottom and two on the upper. Now that I have completed the recovery and have my beautiful teeth, I am elated with the results. As soon as I got my lower denture put in(I had the upper done first) I went to eat at a restaurant and ate corn on the cob and chicken off the bone for the first time in years . Thank you, Dr. Torabi for your excellent precision and the excellent results. Thanks, also, for your staff that put me at ease and willingness to accommodate my busy schedule. Great job!! read more

Worse service I've ever receive. The receptionist are extremely rude to start with. I went in There to get one front teeth implant. I've had a bone graft done for 1300$, 6 months passed and I was ready to take it to the next step which was getting the impressions. I paid 1100 for the impressions. The impressions took 6 months to come in. I moved out of the area for a job after four months of waiting. I've spoke to griselda (the manager) and I've ask what's taking forever? She said she the lab they contract with is taking a long time to do my Impressions. I've asked if she can cancel the impressions and return the money back to my account because I was tired of waiting. She agreed and said I would have my 1100$ back in a week or two. Anyways, I got busy with orientation at work and waited 2 weeks and no money back, then I gave it another two weeks and I finally call them back and ask for my refund and she said they couldn't refund my money because the impressions were complete 3days prior to my call. Which was three weeks and two days after she mentioned I would get refund. I agreed to continue with my implant after this. However, trying to make an appointment was a nightmare. The doctor was only there one day out of the week and he was always full. I tried to get an appointment in their LA office and not one would return my call. Finally i found another dentist and she basically did the job within two weeks. I sent emails, calls begging them to give me an appointment. They never did. I was out of 1100 dollars. These people are corrupt, unethical, money driven and do not care about their patients. I was going to sue this doctor and his office; however, I don't want to waste no more time. These people advertise $800 implants; however, it's not true. It's way more and I would not mind paying for an implant because it's my health; however, I do mind when money driven people schedule a bunch of patients they can't never complete just so they can have a little bit of money in their pocket. Please, if you are ever going to look for a dentist, I WOULD HIGHLY ADVICE YOU TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This corporation is horrible, rude, and I've never seen anyone so unethical as this group. I wouldn't even give them 1 star.. This is the second time going here both time it was over and hour wait. They only have 4 rooms and they double book... This time I waited an hour and 10 mins for them to take my daughter back for 7 mins and send her on her way!! The receptionest was a rude bleep.. And had the nerve to have an attitude with me over being upset that I had to stand for 40 mins in the waiting room because they only have 7 chairs. Someone signed in that had an appt at 2:30 and my appt was at 2 and they took her back before us. So obviously appt dont matter.. It's a first come first serve.. They don't even deserve one star. The dr claimed I was numb already,when I felt everything. Then she said it was the sound of the drill that was making me feel the pain. She told me I was sensitive and proceeded to get attitude because she had to numb me again. I got up and walked out. I've never been treated so poorly at a dentist in my whole 27yrs of life. i have never ever had teeth pain in my life so i made an appointment to American dental just for a check up an cleaning .. i was told i neededa filling wich i was ok with it who wouldn't trust the dentist....after a filling i have been in severe pain in mu mouth going uo to my ear an head unbearablei have gone back 4xs after letting them know how i feel an haven't gotten any results now i have been in in pain for about over a month i cant do simple things as drinking water or eating soft foods... i do not recommend this place at all please people go somewhere else read more
