We built this house 40 years ago, but it's time to downsize. My last gift to this house was to call American Window Cleaning. They sent an estimator who took pictures and promptly sent me a quote. I was happy their website gave me several choices "good", "better", "best". I decided to wash the exterior windows, clean out the gutters, sweep the roof and power wash the house. They called to make an appointment to do the work. Their team arrived on time, explained the order of things -- and got right down to it. I was delighted with the job they did. AND IT WAS A LOT OF WORK. Their brightly painted truck had excellent equipment which did an impressive job. The two young men were courteous and industrious. They were here for 4+ hours and my total cost was $745. Which I considered a bargain. I would highly recommend them. read more

I moved into my condo a year ago in April. The windows were absolutely filthy, but I had greater priorities at the time, so I had to delay cleaning until I could get to them. Last fall, I requested a quote from American Window Cleaning, but I had to postpone the cleaning until spring. I waited until June to call again to get a new quote and set up a time for the job to be done. They honored my old quote and we set up a time and date. The young man who did the work was polite, on time, and he took off his shoes when he came in to unclip the screens. He went right to work and made the windows looked like new. I couldn't have been more pleased. It was well worth the money I paid. Will definitely use them again! read more

I used their services for the first time this year and was very pleased (window cleaning, house wash, stoop clean, patio clean). The cleaning products they used worked as described - there was noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of all areas - esp in removing mildew from my gutters and overhangs. Windows were left streak-free. Noah and Dimetri were the technicians on the job, and they were prompt, made quick work of the project, and did a great job! I also appreciated their al a carte bid process so you can select what you want done and compare the costs up front. Will definitely use American again! read more

I moved to the Quad city area about a year ago and was in need of a reputable company to clean gutters. Based on recommendations, I contacted American window and an estimate was properly received. However, the estimate also included prices on other services they provide. The first appointment was completed in the spring and I was quite happy with the quality of work and the professionalism of the staff. I booked again this fall given the number of trees in the area and again was quite pleased with the services provided by a different crew. I would strongly recommend American window Cleaning. read more

We had the best service from American Window Cleaning. Very smooth at getting our house and windows scheduled for cleaning. The two guys we had for our window cleaning were great! Our window sills were filthy as well as the windows and screens. They did such a great job that we couldn't even tell there were screens on. Our puppy saw our blinds move inside while he was standing outside and walked into the window because he couldn't even tell that the glass door was there. Now that is clean! He is fine. :-) Thanks again for giving such great service! Will highly recommend. read more

This is our second experience with American Window Cleaners & we were again very pleased with the results. Our windows are a beast to clean...two stories of multi-pane windows, lots of ladder work and one room with cathedral style panes extending 11-12 feet in height. We requested cleaning inside and out. The two men arrived exactly on time and finished well in advance of our personal estimate. The windows were spotless. I was especially impressed by the comment of the young leader of the team; "Sure, I remember this job and I've a plan in mind to make us more efficient!". Wow.. read more

This was our second time having American Window clean our vinyl pergola and power wash our wooden deck. I can hardly believe the difference their services made to our outdoor living area. No more mold and mildew! Logan and James were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made sure the end product met our expectations and more. I used to spend days on a ladder cleaning our pergola by hand. I'm so glad I discovered American Window. What a great value! As a 1st time customer, we had a great experience from the original call with Angi through the completion of the work. Their say-do ratio was 100%. The two man team was very friendly and professional, did a great job cleaning our windows, arrived when they said they would, very courteous and conscientious about not trampling the many gardens and plants surrounding our home, and honored their three day no rain guarantee as they came back to reclean our skylights. We will definitely have them back, and would most definitely recommend them to others. read more

We used American Window Cleaning to clean our windows, siding , deck, pergola, & decorative stones. We got the basic ( good) package for all of them. They did a good job on everything except the windows. They did a good job on the screens & window sills, but they missed a lot of stuff on the windows, streaks,& smuges that I had to buff out when I went to wash the inside of the windows. I am a Realtor & I would recommend them to my clients & Realtor friends. read more

Hi, I just had my house and gutters cleaned, along with my patio and windows. The two men who were here - Clayton and Elijah - did an amazing job from start to finish. They came on time, were very professional, knowledgeable and shared any issues on our windows or house they found. They started right at 9 am and did not stop until all was completed which I believe was about 1:30 pm. Thank you American for hiring such great employees! Julie D read more
