I work in law and scanning a document shouldn't be charged whether it's one page or 1,000 pages If their machine is slow as they claimed over the phone then why should the client be penalized then excuses it with "well my employee stood there for two hours!" So what?! That's why she's your employee that you hired to provide a service for an hourly wage. Not in my years of experience doing immigration work or personal injury work have I ever charged struggling families for this. That's not right. I can only imagine the insane amount they charge for getting your taxes done here. These are hard time for immigrant families, this is not the time to be greedy. Actually it never is the time.

From the moment we connected, Earl was incredibly generous with his time, spending a full hour walking through our unique financial situation in detail. He took the time to truly understand where we're at, asked thoughtful questions, and offered a wide range of insightful recommendations tailored specifically to us. What really stood out was his ability to clearly explain technical terms and concepts that had confused us for years. By the end of the call, we felt more confident and informed than ever before. To our surprise, Earl didn't charge us for this initial session, which speaks volumes about his character and commitment to helping people. When we asked about his rates moving forward, we found them to be very reasonable, and we absolutely plan to return once we've implemented his advice. You can easily tell once you meet with Earl that he is genuine, highly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the people he works with. I get it. I, too, was clueless when it comes with financial education…read more My parents didn't teach me anything and growing up, I saw them struggled with money and for this matter, I was on the pursuit to learn so I can make better decisions for my future. And that's when I found out about COFEC (Community Outreach Financial Education Class) with the help of Sheng Vang and Terrie Bui through one of my colleagues. A few months ago, I joined one of their weekly Saturday workshops to help find the financial peace of mind. I was blown away by the amount of knowledge and their mission to reach out to the community to impact and ensure families get the right education with the right resources that fit best for their success. Never had I felt like this group was trying to 'sell' me anything I didn't need. All they ever wanted was to teach, impact, and clear up any concerns and guide people in the right direction. It sounds so cliche but you'd be surprised how many groups out there just want a piece of your dollar for the sale. COFEC wasn't that. I don't know how else but to say that I have finally found the group that fits best for me and the amount of stuff they teach you is priceless and invaluable. Thank you, COFEC, Sheng and Terrie for all that you do! Looking forward to entering 2019 and many other years after with you all.
