It was so hard but calmly necessary. Life changes and moves. So it was very personal and he helped me by answering all of my many questions and phone calls so I could understand the process and the realtor language. I probably made it a longer process than necessary, but he walked me through everything for as long as I needed and at the right time for my life and my family. I couldn't have asked for a better realtor and would definitely recommend him, absolutely yes, to anyone who needs to sell their home or buy a "new home" for their next adventure in life.

Marnie is an expert professional who worked hard for us right as the the market was beginning to turn against sellers in 2022. We researched many agents and brokers in the area and interviewed several top performers, so our choice to go with Marnie came with high expectations and she delivered. Despite the changing market conditions Marnie provided pragmatic, steady guidance to us throughout the process. She understood our needs and produced the right strategies at just the right times to ensure we maximized our goals even as the market was turning soft. Her depth of knowledge in the Northern Colorado real estate market and her savvy, from having navigated previous volatile markets, provided strong guidance and support for our decisions. She never wavered in her confidence and was able to provide clear rationale to minimize the challenges. Marnie was "in it" with us, providing consistent updates and check-ins. She was very understanding and open to all our questions and suggestions, while deftly guiding us to the best path. We would wholeheartedly recommend Marnie to anyone that is buying or selling a property in Northern Colorado.

Generally a good property management company, though our building had bats when we first moved in…read moreand it took 6 of our own calls to animal control (and several more form neighbors) and over a month for them to bother doing anything about it... kind of odd. I always wondered if they only acted because animal control fined them for something. Otherwise, repair calls were answered timely enough, renovations in the building were minimally invasive to residents, and rent was cheap for where we were living. The problem is the security deposit. Though we did get back way more of our deposit that I thought we would, it was a month late and that caused us a lot of heartache. Don't move into an APS building unless you have so much money that waiting forever to get your deposit back isn't going to make you overdraft on your bank account or have to pay your bills late. Also be prepared for bats, especially if you live within a mile of the bat colony that animal control services told me lives near about Laurel and Whedbee.

No carpet replacement, no baseboard or flooring replacements. They cut back the carpet, cut out only the corner of the rotting wood base boards and said they could test for mold but if there was no mold to be found, I'd be charged for the tests. There are multiple cracks in the foundation of that building. And how could i forget about the "faux drains" at the bottom of the steps before entering the apartment... Don't do it.
