This particular location is responsible for picking up my trash, recyclable materials, and yard waste on one day per week. I have been a customer of theirs since 2020. They consistently stop by unless they have bad weather or a holiday occurs, in which case they email and text me that they will come on the next day. Waste Management's website is easy to use. It allows me to view my invoices and payments, request extra pickups, and view my service and order histories. Years ago, I requested a green-top yard-waste cart that employees had told me would be delivered in weeks, but it was actually months. In addition, a painter whom I had hired told me that a trash collector had yelled and swore at her for having her car on the side of the road. Most recently, I filled out a form on WM's website to request that they pick up a bench for free. An employee arrived on time and disposed of it in his truck.

I had a few businesses give me quotes but this company was more personable. They had me send photo and gave me an honest and reasonable estimate. They arrived on time and gave me heads up on their ETA. The day of hauling, they walked through the items and told me where they would end up- dump, repurposed, recycled. I gave them more items than I expected since I felt they would repurpose them as opposed to hauling the load to dump. Nice men with good manners and super helpful. I will call them again. Ps. Old TVs cost extra to remove but well worth the additional price. But I would recommend trying Best Buy- they allow one item per household for e-waste but i am not sure about older TVs.

We pulled in & pulled up to the scale where our vehicle was weighed with the scrap. We were directed where to pull in to unload our scrap. I was helping my husband unload the items when two gentlemen employees told me I could wait in the truck while they helped unload. Kudos to these guys. Chivalry is not dead. You drive back on to the scale where you are weighed again without the scrap. They give you a receipt to take to the cashier & you're done. Fair & fast. I definitely recommend this place if you have metal to scrap.

I went to the Southside location. For $90, I disposed of a flat-screen and tube TV. There is a disposal fee per pound on TVs. Like the Visa commercials getting that space back in my home ... priceless. I learned that they also have convenient drop-off at local Guardian storage facilities. So, later the same day I dropped of 2 computer towers, a printer, and a 14 lb black and white (no color really just black and white) laptop (1995 era) to my local Guardian facility. Call Guardian before going there to make sure it is a drop-off location.
